The range figures should be treated as advertised claims rather than a promise of real-world distance: the sources do not state a test cycle or provide an independent range test. Actual range can depend on conditions such as speed, weather, terrain and passenger load.
How does its tilting design work?
The vehicle has four wheels, but its chassis leans into corners, drawing on two-wheeler dynamics. AEMotion says the chassis can lean beyond 35 degrees and that the pilot controls the angle with the handlebars. The layout aims to combine a narrow footprint and motorcycle-like cornering with an enclosed two-seat vehicle.

AEMotion lists doors, seat belts, crashboxes and a removable-battery option. New Atlas reported in June 2025 that both seats have four-point belts and that prototypes were developed using automotive-grade crash-test simulations. Simulations are not published independent crash-test results or proof of a safety certification.

The company says the vehicle is made from robust technical subassemblies that can be repaired by an AEMOTION-authorized garage. That is AEMotion’s serviceability claim; the available sources do not establish the size or geographic coverage of a repair network.

Is it safer than a motorcycle?
That has not been established by the available evidence. AEMotion’s stated design ambition, as quoted by New Atlas, was to combine motorcycle agility with the safety profile of a four-wheeled vehicle. Belts, doors and crashboxes are design features, and prototype simulations are development tools; neither demonstrates a measured safety advantage over a motorcycle. The cited sources do not provide independent crash results or a head-to-head safety comparison.
What license does it require?
AEMotion lists a B license and seven hours of training as its requirement. That is the company’s stated licensing information, not a universal rule. Vehicle classification and licensing requirements vary by country, so check the current rules with the relevant licensing authority before relying on a car license to drive it.

Can you buy or order the AEMOTION now?
AEMotion’s September 2025 English sales terms describe an online pre-order intended to reserve a vehicle, but do not establish a final price or confirmed delivery date. The terms say essential product details and the total price are to be confirmed later through contact with an AEMotion representative. They also say delivery estimates are indicative and can change.
Under those terms, the pre-order payment is refundable if the product cannot be delivered, and customers may cancel or modify after validation without condition. If the estimated timeframe no longer suits the customer, the terms also allow cancellation without condition.

New Atlas reported in June 2025 that AEMotion was initially targeting long-term leases at around €200 per month, with a pre-series batch forecast later in 2025 and regular deliveries forecast for late 2026 or early 2027. Those were dated forecasts, not confirmed present-day prices or delivery commitments. The sources do not establish current availability outside France.
