AAWireless TWO+ adds wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to a car or aftermarket head unit that already supports the relevant system over a cable. The “big launch discount” was a limited Indiegogo pre-order offer in May 2025, not a current deal: the manufacturer’s product page showed TWO+ as sold out on October 8, 2026.
What the AAWireless TWO+ launch discount included
Droid Life reported on May 23, 2025, that Indiegogo pre-orders were offered in limited tiers: $34 for the next 1,000 backers and $39 for the following 1,500, against an expected $59 price. The $29 tier had already sold out, and shipping was scheduled for July 2025. These were campaign prices, not ongoing retail prices. Droid Life’s launch coverage.
Retail pricing was different. Android Authority reported on October 20, 2025, that the product launched in the US and EU at a starting price of $64.99, with UK availability expected later. That later launch figure and the earlier crowdfunding tiers refer to different sales periods; neither establishes a current price. Android Authority’s retail launch report.
Subsequent discounts were also temporary. Android Authority reported an Amazon price of $55.24 against a stated usual price of $65 on April 2, 2026, and marked the offer expired. 9to5Google reported a $52 website promotion in June 2026 that ended June 14. The official product page showed the TWO+ as sold out when accessed October 8, 2026, so check current stock and price before buying rather than relying on those past offers. Will AAWireless TWO+ work with your car?
It works only if your car or aftermarket head unit already supports wired Android Auto, wired CarPlay, or both. The adapter replaces the phone-to-car cable connection with a wireless one; it does not add Android Auto or CarPlay to a vehicle that lacks the corresponding wired system. AAWireless puts the rule plainly: “Works with cars and aftermarket head units that have wired-only Android Auto and / or CarPlay.” AAWireless TWO+ product page.
- Connect your phone to the vehicle’s USB port with a cable.
- Confirm that Android Auto or CarPlay starts on the vehicle’s display.
- Use TWO+ only for the system that passed that wired check; built-in wireless Android Auto or CarPlay systems are not compatible with this dongle, according to the manufacturer.
Phone requirements listed by AAWireless are Android 11 or newer for wireless Android Auto and iPhone X or newer for wireless CarPlay. Check that the phone, vehicle, and infotainment system meet the relevant requirements before purchasing. AAWireless compatibility FAQ.

What “both” means—and what it does not
TWO+ supports the Android Auto and CarPlay phone ecosystems, but that does not mean it runs both systems simultaneously. The manufacturer describes a multifunction button for pairing and switching phones, and says multiple phones can be connected. Choose the system used by the phone you are pairing; the intended benefit is switching between compatible phones, not displaying two systems at once. Connection, size, and what comes in the box
The adapter has a USB-C port and uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. AAWireless explains that Bluetooth passes Wi-Fi credentials to the phone before the connection uses Wi-Fi; its FAQ also notes that Android Auto processes require Bluetooth. So, describing the setup as Wi-Fi-only misses part of how it connects. AAWireless setup FAQ.

AAWireless lists a two-year warranty and a 30-day return period. Its FAQ says purchases from Amazon and the official webshop have a two-year warranty, and that return shipping is paid by the customer. - Choose TWO+ if: your car has wired CarPlay and/or Android Auto, your phone meets the operating-system requirement, and you want a wireless connection with the option to switch between phones using either ecosystem.
- Do not buy it to: add CarPlay or Android Auto to a vehicle without wired support, or convert a factory wireless system to another type of connection.
- Compare it with AAWireless TWO if: you use Android Auto only. The manufacturer’s comparison identifies CarPlay compatibility as the key TWO+ addition.
- Before checkout: verify availability, seller, price, warranty, and return terms. Historical campaign and deal prices do not show what a current listing costs.
