A rainbow-wrapped Tesla Cybertruck was reported at a Los Angeles Pride parade in West Hollywood, according to Futurism’s June 3, 2024 report. The headline’s suggestion that Elon Musk would “blow a gasket” is a joke, not evidence that he saw the truck or reacted to it.
What was reported about the Cybertruck
Futurism described a Cybertruck covered in rainbow colors at an LGBTQ Pride parade in Los Angeles and linked to video and social posts associated with West Hollywood. One Reddit post was titled “Cybertruck @ Pride, West Hollywood, CA.” Those posts document a particular sighting; they do not establish how common this kind of vehicle is at Pride events.

The article does not identify the truck’s owner, who applied the wrap, or what material or brand was used. The images and event context support describing it as rainbow-wrapped, but not naming a supplier or claiming Tesla produced the design.
Did Elon Musk see it or respond?
The cited coverage does not establish that Musk saw the vehicle or commented on it. “Blow a gasket” is the headline’s provocative prediction, not a quote from Musk or a verified account of his response.

What is known about Cybertruck wraps
Tesla’s Cybertruck vinyl-wrap support page describes a separate wrap service available through participating Tesla Service Centers. Tesla says the purchase price includes material and installation; installation can take three to four business days after an initial service visit. The company recommends hand-washing and describes a 12-month warranty for installation issues, subject to its warranty terms. Tesla discusses available colors at the initial service visit, so its page does not establish that a Pride rainbow design is currently offered.

An independent vendor, CYBERTRUCKWRAPS, advertises Cybertruck color-change wraps and professional shop installation. Those are the vendor’s own offerings and claims, not independent test results. Neither Tesla’s service information nor the vendor’s listing connects its work to the Cybertruck seen at the parade.

“Automotive vinyl wrap film” is a broad search category, not a confirmed description of the parade truck’s covering. The report does not name its film, brand, roll size, or installation method. For a full-vehicle wrap, compare material and color options, confirmed Cybertruck fit, preparation and installation requirements, care guidance, warranty terms, and local availability. A professional installation is one option; the available reporting does not show which approach was used on the Pride-event vehicle.
