Its curated archive spans rally and competition cars, Gymkhana film builds and one-off projects—but it is not a dated, complete inventory of what is physically stored there today. The collection’s story is less about a fixed headcount than about the range of machines Block and his team made for racing and for the camera.
What is known about Ken Block’s garage?
Block House Racing identifies its Park City, Utah, facility as the home of the Block family’s racecars and special-project vehicles, including some of Ken Block’s best-known builds. The Henry Ford’s 2019 oral-history record also places Hoonigan Racing in Park City: curator Matt Anderson interviewed Block there on November 12, 2019.
The Block House Racing garage archive profiles notable vehicles and their build histories. It does not give a dated, complete inventory or a current total, so the cars shown there should be read as a selection associated with the family’s projects—not proof that every profiled vehicle is inside the facility now.
The Hoonicorn: a signature Mustang with two configurations
The 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR is one of the defining builds in Block’s film-car story. Its V1 configuration appeared in Gymkhana SEVEN. Block House Racing describes V2 as a later development, with substantial mechanical changes; those V2 details should not be confused with the original car’s specification.

What changed for Hoonicorn V2?
- Engine: a 410-cubic-inch Roush Yates Ford V8.
- Forced induction: a custom Garrett twin-turbo setup and Switzer Dynamics intake manifold.
- Drive system: a Sadev all-wheel-drive system.
- Power: Block House Racing lists 1,400 horsepower for V2; its current archive does not state the year for that figure.
The archive presents the Hoonicorn as a developed project rather than a single, unchanging specification: the original Gymkhana SEVEN car and the later V2 represent different stages of the build.
A garage shaped by both racing and Gymkhana
The archive reaches well beyond the Mustang. It profiles Gymkhana Subaru and Ford vehicles, Audi Quattro models, the Escort Cossie V2 and other special projects. Cossie V2 is described as a modern rally-spec successor to Block’s original Escort Cosworth. Together, the entries show how the family’s vehicle projects crossed between competition machinery and cars built for Gymkhana films, without establishing that all of them remain at the Park City garage.

Block described that range in a RACER interview published April 2, 2020: “I wouldn’t call it a magic formula, but I definitely build cars from the Hoonicorn all the way to being able to go out and race top-level current machinery.” He added, “The variety of what we do as a team is what keeps people entertained.”
The Audi S1 Hoonitron brought the film formula into an electric era
The Audi S1 Hoonitron was a purpose-built, all-electric prototype for Electrikhana—not a production Audi or a conventional garage restoration. In its October 25, 2022 release, Hoonigan called it a one-of-one bespoke vehicle developed and built by Audi for the film. Audi Sport began concept work in Neckarsulm in March 2021, and the company says its team turned the concept into a vehicle in nine months.

The design drew cues from the Audi quattro S1 E2 Pikes Peak car, while the release says the prototype used technology developed for Formula E. Hoonigan reported over 6,000 newton-meters of torque at the wheels; that is the company’s stated figure, not an independently verified test result. Block welcomed the film-specific challenge: “When Audi approached us with the idea of doing a film in a special electric vehicle, that they would construct solely for the film, we jumped at the challenge.” Audi board member Oliver Hoffmann said, “With the S1 Hoonitron we broke entirely new ground at Audi.”
Electrikhana TWO added a new way to control slides
Hoonigan’s December 6, 2023 account says Electrikhana TWO was filmed in Mexico City in November 2022 and released after the project had been shelved following Block’s death. The account describes further development with Audi Sport, including simulated gears: paddle shifters selected programmed levels of wheel speed, giving Block another way to shape slides and donuts in the electric car. The film also demonstrates opposite-driven wheels and transitions between all-wheel and rear-wheel drive.

Hoonigan’s 2023 release said the Gymkhana franchise had exceeded 650 million views on YouTube alone. That company figure is specific to the platform and date of the release; it is not a measure of the garage or its vehicles.

For readers who want a small-scale version of the Mustang, LEGO’s official US page lists the Ken Block’s ’65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V1 Speed Champions set, product 77262. It is a building set, not a die-cast model: the page lists 345 pieces and a Ken Block minifigure, and says the set depicts details of the Hoonicorn co-created by Block and Hoonigan for Gymkhana SEVEN.
