Jeremy Clarkson has not published a complete inventory of his cars, so there is no verified total for his collection. In a 2026 Wheels interview, he described keeping “a few relics” from The Grand Tour and named five: an Alfa Romeo GTV6, Lancia Monte Carlo, Lincoln Continental, Mercedes Grosser and Mini. Separately, a 2025 interview reported that he drives an older Range Rover and Jaguar F-Type. Those cars are the clearest recent picture of what he has retained and uses—not a definitive count of every car he owns.
Does Jeremy Clarkson collect cars?
Asked directly, “Do you collect cars?”, Clarkson told Wheels: “I’ve got a few relics from The Grand Tour that I didn’t want to just say goodbye to.” He said he does not go out and buy these cars; he describes them as vehicles he inherited from the show. The interview names examples, not a complete or independently verified inventory. Read the 2026 Wheels interview.

Cars Clarkson says he kept from The Grand Tour
The five vehicles Clarkson named in the 2026 interview are:
- Alfa Romeo GTV6
- Lancia Monte Carlo
- Lincoln Continental
- Mercedes Grosser
- Mini
These are cars he said he kept because he did not want to part with them after the show. The interview does not specify their model years, current condition, or whether they make up his entire collection.

The cars he says he drives
In a Top Gear interview published on 10 September 2025, Clarkson said he drives an 18-year-old Range Rover and a 12-year-old Jaguar F-Type. Those ages describe the cars relative to the 2025 interview; they are not stated model years and should not be treated as current ages. Read the Top Gear interview.
Clarkson connected his preference for these older cars to their physical controls: “The reason I drive an 18-year old Range Rover and a 12-year old Jag is it’s got buttons.” His comment offers a reason for choosing them, but it does not establish that these are the only cars he drives or owns.

Cars from the final Grand Tour special—and what that does not prove
The Grand Tour: One For The Road featured a Lancia Montecarlo, Ford Capri 3-litre and Triumph Stag on a trip through Zimbabwe. In an official 2024 retrospective, Amazon UK described them as cars the presenters had always wanted to own. Clarkson later named a Monte Carlo among the cars he retained, but the special’s use of the Capri and Stag does not establish that he kept either of those cars. About Amazon UK’s retrospective on the final special.
Cars Clarkson would like to own
A 2026 Top Gear story reports that Clarkson would like to own a Lexus LFA and would also consider a Lamborghini Revuelto. They are aspirations reported by the magazine, not evidence that either car is in his collection. Read the Top Gear report on the Lexus LFA.

His car collection is not the same as The Grand Tour’s car count
Amazon UK reported that The Grand Tour ran for five seasons, visited 41 countries and featured 187 cars. Those figures describe the television series, not Clarkson’s personal ownership. A car appearing in an episode—or even being used by Clarkson—cannot by itself be counted as part of his collection.
The same distinction matters for older stories about show cars. For example, Grand Tour Nation reported that Clarkson temporarily took home a modified Bentley Continental GT used in the Madagascar special, then returned it to Bentley. That is secondary reporting about a temporary arrangement, not evidence that the Bentley remains in his collection. Read the Grand Tour Nation report.
