Yes—a 2023 Fisker Ocean One, the high-output dual-motor version often rounded to 560 hp, sold for $17,879 in a completed Cars & Bids auction on August 14, 2026. That is evidence of one real sub-$20,000 transaction, not a guarantee that every Ocean—or every clean-title example—costs less than $20,000. Market pages also showed lower-priced listings in September 2026, but asking prices are not sale prices.
Is the Fisker Ocean really selling for under $20,000?
There is a completed sale to support the claim: a 2023 Ocean One sold for $17,879 on Cars & Bids on August 14, 2026, after 13 bids. The auction listing is available at Cars & Bids. It is a specific sale, not a market-wide average or a price guarantee for a different trim, condition, location, or title history.

CLASSIC.COM’s market page showed examples priced at $13,988, $17,999, $18,008, and $18,988 in September 2026. Those are asking prices, not verified completed transactions; see CLASSIC.COM’s Fisker Ocean listings and market page. The page also reported a lowest recorded sale of $15,250 for a 2023 Ocean Ultra on August 26, 2026. That is a separate historical sale, not the Ocean One auction above.

How much does a used Fisker Ocean cost in 2026?
The available evidence shows sub-$20,000 asks and at least one completed sub-$20,000 sale, but it does not establish a dependable typical retail value for a clean-title Ocean Extreme or for all 2023 Oceans in the United States. Trim, odometer, title, damage, equipment, and documented repair history can make individual examples poor comparisons. Compare like with like, and distinguish closed sales from listings still seeking a buyer.
- Completed transaction: $17,879 for the 2023 Ocean One sold August 14, 2026 on Cars & Bids.
- Asking prices: CLASSIC.COM showed several examples below $20,000 in September 2026.
- Different trim and date: CLASSIC.COM reported a $15,250 sale for a 2023 Ultra on August 26, 2026.
What does “560 hp” mean on a 2023 Fisker Ocean?
“560 hp” is rounded shorthand for the 564 hp cited for high-output dual-motor configurations when Boost Mode is engaged; it is not the output of every Ocean trim. The auction listing for the Ocean One describes 564 hp and 543 lb-ft with Boost Mode, dual electric motors, and all-wheel drive. Fisker GmbH i.L.’s December 2025 European Final Edition guide likewise lists 414.8 kW / 564 hp and dual-motor AWD for the Ultra and Extreme. Its figures and package details apply to the European Final Edition guide, not automatically to every used 2023 vehicle; the guide is available as a Fisker Ocean Final Edition Product Guide (version 12.2025).

The same guide lists the Sport at 282 hp, front-wheel drive, and a 73-kWh LFP Touring Range battery, while the Ultra and Extreme have a 113-kWh NMC Hyper Range battery. It also says Boost Mode is subject to an electronic cap of 500 activations. Buyers should check the exact trim and vehicle configuration rather than infer power from the Ocean name alone.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsDoes the 560-hp Ocean Extreme have a 360-mile range?
The 360-mile figure in the Cars & Bids Ocean One listing is a maximum EPA range rating associated with the Hyper Range battery. It is not a promise that every trip, vehicle, or trim will achieve 360 miles. The European Final Edition guide reports WLTP range figures, a different test standard; those numbers should not be compared directly with the U.S. EPA figure. Check the vehicle’s exact configuration and the applicable range rating for its market.

What should you verify before buying one?
The auction example illustrates why claims in an individual listing need independent verification. Its seller said the water-pump recall remedy, software update 2.2, front harness connector sealing, and 12-volt battery replacement had been completed, but the listing said supporting documentation was not provided. The seller also disclosed wear to the driver’s seat and trim. The listing’s Carfax description said, “The attached Carfax vehicle history report shows no accidents or mileage discrepancies in this Ocean’s past.” That statement pertains only to that vehicle and report; it does not establish the history of another Ocean.
- Match records to the VIN. Ask an authorized or qualified service source to verify recall and repair completion against the specific vehicle identification number. Do not rely on a seller’s verbal summary when paperwork is missing.
- Check title and condition. Review title status, accident and damage history, odometer, interior wear, and any inspection findings. A listing’s history report covers only its listed vehicle and is not a substitute for your own checks.
- Establish software and support status. Confirm the software version installed and what updates or service channels are currently available for that specific car and region.
- Confirm practical repair access. Before purchase, identify a nearby shop willing and equipped to work on the Ocean, and ask about access to parts and diagnostic support for the repairs the car may need.
- Check charging fit. Verify connector compatibility, included charging equipment, and that any home charger suits the vehicle and your electrical setup. The auction example included a wall-mounted Level 2 charger, but that does not establish what another Ocean includes or whether a specific charger is compatible.
Can you still get Fisker Ocean parts and software updates?
Fisker filed for bankruptcy in 2024, and Ocean production ended, according to CLASSIC.COM’s model overview. That makes service and parts access important to investigate before buying. The existence of a low asking price does not establish that repairs will be easy, inexpensive, or available locally.

A September 2026 Fisker Owners Association search result named independent parts suppliers in North America and Europe, but the page returned an error when opened. Treat those supplier and availability claims as provisional: verify current inventory, geographic coverage, and whether a repairer can actually obtain and fit the required part before relying on them.

Is a sub-$20,000 Fisker Ocean worth considering?
The sale price can be attractive, but the transaction alone cannot answer whether a particular Ocean is a sound purchase. Assess the actual car’s trim, title, condition, battery and range configuration, documented recall work, software status, charging equipment, and local repair options. A lower price matters only if the vehicle’s condition and support needs fit your budget and tolerance for uncertainty.
