There is no defensible objective ranking of Spain’s supercars: the cars span historic road machines, low-volume projects and modern electric hypercars, and their performance claims are not measured on a common basis. This curated five-car selection highlights their significance and engineering while distinguishing delivered cars from plans and targets.
How to read this selection
“Supercar” and “hypercar” are editorial labels, not standardized classes. The list is not a fastest-to-slowest ranking. It weighs historical significance, originality, production status and the kind of evidence available. Manufacturer specifications are not independent test results; announced plans and project targets are not proof of completed production or achieved performance.
1. Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne
The Carmen Boulogne is an all-electric road car that Hispano Suiza describes as racing-inspired. The company’s official Carmen Boulogne page lists 820 kW of maximum power, 1,150 Nm of maximum torque, a 0–100 km/h time of 2.6 seconds and a range of 310 miles. These are manufacturer figures; the cited page does not provide independent test results.
Its place on this list rests on the combination of electric propulsion and a low-volume Spanish luxury-car marque’s return to high-performance road cars, rather than on a claim that it is the fastest here.

2. Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera
Hispano Suiza presented the Carmen Sagrera in June 2024 as the third electric hypercar in its Carmen range, associating the launch with the marque’s 120th anniversary. In a January 2025 production account, the company said the car had four electric motors, produced 1,114 hp, reached 100 km/h from rest in 2.6 seconds and was hand-built at its Barcelona headquarters. Its model page also gives a 480 km range and 1,150 Nm of torque. All are manufacturer-reported specifications, not independent test measurements.
The Sagrera is a useful example of how the Carmen line connects contemporary electric performance with Hispano Suiza’s Spanish identity. The company dates its foundation to 1904; its archive says it produced more than 12,000 luxury vehicles and 50,000 aircraft engines between 1904 and 1946. Those are manufacturer-published historical figures, not a comparison of the modern cars’ performance.

3. GTA Spano
The GTA Spano is a Spanish supercar associated with Spania GTA. A 2016 EL PAÍS report described the car’s claimed performance, construction materials and a planned 99-unit run. That number was a period-reported production plan, not proof that 99 cars were ultimately built or delivered. The report’s performance details likewise should be treated as claims reported at the time, not as independently verified results.
The Spano merits inclusion as a low-volume Spanish performance-car project, but its planned run and reported specifications should not be mistaken for a current production update. For a separate, more explicitly speculative effort, see the E&D project below.

4. GTA Spano E&D
Spania GTA’s E&D project page presents the car as a one-off project with the objective of exceeding 400 km/h. That is a target, not evidence that the speed was achieved. It is therefore not sound to call this the fastest Spanish supercar on the basis of the cited claim.
The same page invokes the Pegaso Z-102, saying it reached 244 km/h in 1953. That retrospective historical claim comes from Spania GTA’s project page; it is not an original Pegaso record or an independently corroborated result in the available sources.

5. Tramontana
A November 2004 EL PAÍS account described Tramontana as a planned Spanish-developed, low-volume supercar with a V12 and tandem seating. The article also said homologation was pending at that time. Its reporting captures an ambitious project and unusual layout, but a 2004 account cannot establish the car’s current production or homologation status.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What “fastest Spanish supercar” can—and cannot—mean
The available figures do not support a reliable fastest-car verdict across these five. The Carmen models’ acceleration and output figures are manufacturer specifications; the GTA Spano E&D’s 400 km/h figure is a stated objective; and the Tramontana source is a period report about a project. Without comparable, independently verified tests and confirmed status for each candidate, ranking them by speed would overstate what the evidence shows.
