Rolls-Royce Spectre: an ultra-luxury electric coupé in service
Why it stands out
Rolls-Royce introduced Spectre as its first fully electric motor car and positions it as an ultra-luxury coupé. Its significance is not that it represents every luxury EV owner, but that it brings the marque’s electric transition into a body style and ownership proposition already associated with Rolls-Royce.
What Rolls-Royce says about ownership
In June 2026, Rolls-Royce reported that Spectre averages around 4,000 miles (6,500 km) per year and is charged almost exclusively at home. Those are manufacturer-reported usage observations for Spectre, not an independent comparative test or a forecast for all owners. They suggest why home charging can suit a low-mileage luxury coupé, but they do not establish that every buyer can rely on home charging.
Porsche Cayenne Electric: production started, with wireless charging as an option

Porsche said production of the Cayenne Electric had started in Bratislava by February 2026. The headline output figure is for the Cayenne Turbo Electric: Porsche reports up to 850 kW (1,156 hp). This is a manufacturer-published maximum, not an independently verified comparison with other vehicles.

Inductive charging and regional timing
Porsche describes inductive wireless charging as an offered option for the Cayenne Electric. In its Australian newsroom, Porsche said availability for order in Australia was expected in Q4 2026. That is an Australian expectation, not a global order date or confirmation that the option is offered in every market. Buyers should check local specifications and ordering details rather than assume the same equipment or timing applies where they live.
Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan: a future 2027 model for the U.S.
What the announced timing means
Mercedes-Benz USA lists a 2027 EQS Sedan as a future vehicle. Mercedes-Benz Media said it would reach U.S. dealerships in the second half of 2026. As of October 7, 2026, that announced window is underway; the cited materials do not establish that the vehicle is already on sale at every U.S. dealer. Nor does a U.S. schedule confirm availability elsewhere.

What is not established
The cited announcement and listing do not provide a charging specification or performance figure to compare here. Treat the EQS as a model to watch for its stated U.S. arrival, not as a vehicle with confirmed details beyond those published by Mercedes-Benz in the cited material.
Bentley EXP 15: a design vision, not a production car
Why include a concept?
Bentley’s EXP 15, publicly debuted in August 2025, is explicitly a design vision and is not intended for production. Bentley says it hints at future design and at the marque’s anticipated first fully electric car. That makes it relevant to readers curious about Bentley’s electric direction, but it should not be counted as a confirmed future model with a launch date, final body specifications or production performance.

Why this is not a ten-car production countdown
The available company statements substantiate these four different kinds of entry: an established electric coupé, an SUV whose production has started, a U.S.-focused future sedan, and a non-production concept. They do not substantiate ten distinct upcoming ultra-luxury production EVs. The entries also serve different purposes, so ranking them as if they were interchangeable would obscure more than it would clarify. For a real purchase decision, verify current local availability, configuration and charging options directly with the manufacturer or dealer.
