That is not a confirmed three-brand ranking: Lexus identifies a 2026 ES 350h hybrid, but the available Lexus page does not state its numerical EPA rating.
2026 Toyota and Honda hybrid sedan MPG
The figures below are EPA city/highway/combined estimates for the specific trims and drivetrains shown. The Toyota-versus-Accord figures come from manufacturer materials; the fuel-economy guide is the U.S. Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency guide, hosted here by a Honda dealer.

What the MPG comparison means
Camry LE leads the cited Toyota-Honda comparison
Toyota’s comparison lists the 2026 Camry LE Hybrid at 53 city, 50 highway and 51 combined mpg, compared with the 2026 Accord Sport Hybrid at 46/41/44. In those specific configurations, the Camry LE is rated 7 mpg higher combined. The comparison is not a claim that every Camry trim beats every Accord: Honda lists the Accord EX-L Hybrid at 48 mpg combined, and Camry ratings vary by trim and drivetrain.

Trim and drivetrain change the result
Honda’s Camry comparison also shows Camry variants rated 52/49/51 and 47/45/46 mpg. The manufacturer ties ratings to trim and drivetrain in its footnotes. The separate 2026 Fuel Economy Guide lists 50 mpg combined for the AWD LE, 46 for AWD SE/XLE, 43 for AWD XSE, and 51 for FWD LE. Do not treat one Camry figure as applying across the range.
The Accord’s highest listed combined figure among these trims is the EX-L Hybrid’s 48 mpg. Sport, Sport-L and Touring are each listed at 44 mpg combined. For the exact fuel-economy number, compare the trim and drivetrain you intend to buy rather than relying on a model-wide headline.

Where the Lexus ES 350h fits
Lexus’s official page identifies the 2026 ES Hybrid, also called the ES 350h, and describes a sixth-generation hybrid system with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. It does not provide a numerical EPA MPG rating in the page information available here, so a numeric Lexus-versus-Camry-versus-Accord ranking cannot be established from that source. Check Lexus’s current specifications or the EPA listing for the precise ES 350h configuration before comparing it with these sedans.

How to use EPA ratings when choosing a hybrid sedan
- Match the exact version. Confirm model year, trim and drivetrain; all can affect the published rating.
- Consider your route. City, highway and combined estimates are separate measures. Use the one most relevant to your regular driving, while recognizing that the combined figure is a standardized comparison.
- Compare equipment and price at the same time. Toyota’s comparison lists a starting price of $29,600 for the Camry LE Hybrid and $33,795 for the Accord Sport Hybrid. These are different trims, not equivalent configurations, and prices can change; verify current dealer pricing and destination charges before deciding.
- Expect real-world variation. EPA estimates are comparison figures, not guaranteed mileage. Honda cautions that actual fuel economy varies with driving habits, maintenance, conditions and battery age or condition.
