The 2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition lists at $69,350 base MSRP on Toyota’s U.S. site, $11,050 more than the regular GR Supra 3.0 at $58,300. That premium is the drawback that matters most to a buyer. Toyota also limits the Final Edition to 1,300 units across North America. The GR86 Yuzu Edition appears in Toyota’s 2026 GR86 listing, but Toyota’s indexed material gives no price, production number, or equipment details for it.
What Toyota is selling
Toyota announced the U.S. 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition on April 3, 2025, and said production of the fifth-generation Supra would end in spring 2026. The Final Edition is a special grade built on the same platform and powertrain as the regular 3.0, with added chassis, braking, aerodynamic, and trim changes. The 2026 model year is therefore the final year for this generation.

What changes on the Final Edition
Toyota’s April 3, 2025 release, published on its USA Newsroom, lists the Final Edition’s changes. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent test results.

- Revised differential control and control maps.
- Larger Brembo brake discs.
- Adjusted front and rear camber.
- Revised electronically controlled shock absorbers.
- A strengthened front stabilizer bar.
- Stronger front control-arm bushings, rear subframe mounts, and an underbody brace.
Aerodynamics
- A carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler.
- Front wheel-arch flaps.
- Higher front tire spats.
Interior and exterior details
- 19-inch matte-black wheels and carbon-fiber mirror caps.
- An Alcantara-trimmed driver’s seat with GR embroidery, plus red stitching, red accents, and red seatbelts.
- A GR cupholder cover and a camo car cover.
The GT4-style pack
Toyota also described a GT4-style pack with GT4-inspired side graphics, a matte-finished carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler, a matte-black rear Supra emblem, and red mirror caps. Toyota’s release said the pack would become available in fall 2025, with Burnout and Undercover listed as extra-cost matte colors. That timing is now past, so confirm with a dealer whether the pack and those colors can still be ordered in your market.

The big drawback: the price premium
Toyota’s current U.S. page lists the Final Edition at $69,350 base MSRP and the GR Supra 3.0 at $58,300. The $11,050 gap is our calculation from those two figures, not a number Toyota publishes on its own. It excludes taxes, fees, options, and dealer pricing, so the real difference at the showroom can be larger or smaller depending on the transaction.
Toyota’s product page directs shoppers to dealers for local offers, and transaction prices and availability vary. Toyota’s listed prices apply to U.S. vehicles only.

Limited numbers and what they do not show
Toyota describes a 1,300-unit release across North America. That is a regional total, so it should not be read as a U.S.-only allocation. Toyota’s materials do not give a U.S. share, a national inventory count, or how many units remain unsold. Any statement about how many are left on dealer lots would be a guess.
Powertrain and Toyota’s performance figures
Toyota rates every 2026 grade with the same 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, producing 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. Toyota’s April 3, 2025 release also gives manufacturer-claimed figures that should be attributed to Toyota, not to independent testing:

For the fifth-generation car, yes. Toyota’s April 3, 2025 announcement states: “Production of the fifth-generation GR Supra will end Spring 2026.” Toyota’s announcement does not say what, if anything, comes after this generation, so any statement about a successor is outside what Toyota has published here.

The GR86 Yuzu Edition
Toyota’s official 2026 Toyota GR86 page identifies a GR86 Yuzu Edition and describes it as a nod to a special edition of the Scion FR-S. The indexed Toyota material does not establish the Yuzu Edition’s price, production count, drivetrain changes, or equipment. It should not be treated as a direct performance or price alternative to the Supra, because Toyota’s sources do not make that comparison.
Who should pay the premium
Whether the $11,050 is worth it depends on what you value. Toyota’s materials support the following reading, but they do not settle the question for any individual buyer:
- Choose the Final Edition if you want the chassis, braking, aero, and trim changes as a package, and you are comfortable paying for limited-run status. The 1,300-unit total and the end of the generation are the only collectability signals Toyota gives.
- Choose the GR Supra 3.0 if you want the same engine and transmission choices at a lower base price and do not need the Final Edition’s hardware or trim. You also avoid the more limited availability.
- Check dealer pricing first. Add taxes, fees, and any options to both quotes before deciding, since those costs fall outside Toyota’s MSRP comparison.
- Treat the camo car cover as a gift, not a reason to pay. Toyota lists it as included with the Final Edition, and a replacement cover bought separately should be checked for fit before purchase.
The Final Edition is a limited, production-ending special for buyers who want the extra hardware and the scarcity. For buyers who mainly want a manual or automatic Supra with the 382-hp engine, the regular 3.0 covers that need at a lower price.
