The V60 Cross Country is not simply the Crown Signia with a different badge. Volvo presents it as a midsize luxury wagon with standard AWD, while Toyota describes a hybrid AWD utility vehicle with wagon-like practicality. The difference is relevant: the Volvo’s higher entry price sits within a luxury-wagon proposition, whereas the Crown Signia emphasizes hybrid efficiency and utility. CarsDirect reports 247 horsepower for the B5 Cross Country Plus and 188 horsepower for the Crown Signia XLE.
