The 2026 all-electric Porsche Macan GTS shares its rear electric motor with the Macan Turbo, but it is not rear-wheel drive: a second motor at the front gives it all-wheel drive. Porsche rates the GTS at 509 hp in normal operation and up to 563 hp with Launch Control overboost.
What does “shares the Turbo’s rear motor” mean?
Porsche Cars North America said in its October 21, 2025 launch announcement that the electric Macan GTS shares its rear electric motor with the Macan Turbo. Porsche describes the motor as having a 230 mm rotor diameter and 210 mm active length, paired with a 900-amp silicon-carbide pulse inverter. The shared component is the rear motor, not the whole Turbo powertrain. The GTS also has a front permanent-magnet synchronous motor, and Porsche lists four-wheel drive. Its listed front-to-rear weight distribution is 48:52, reinforcing the rear-biased character without changing the fact that all four wheels are driven. How much power and performance does the electric GTS have?
Porsche gives the US-market electric Macan GTS a stated output of 380 kW (509 hp) and maximum torque of 704 lb-ft. With Launch Control, overboost raises output to 420 kW (563 hp); that higher figure is conditional, not the car’s ordinary stated output. Porsche Cars North America, October 21, 2025

Porsche claims 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds, a 12.0-second quarter-mile, and a 155 mph top track speed for the US version. These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results. What battery and charging figures does Porsche publish?
Porsche’s MY26 technical data lists a 100 kWh gross, 95 kWh net high-voltage battery. The launch announcement says the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 21 minutes at a suitable fast charger under ideal conditions, with peak charging capacity of up to 270 kW. What makes the GTS different in the chassis and cabin?
The GTS pairs its dual-motor drivetrain with standard Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), including an electronically controlled rear limited-slip differential. Its standard sport air suspension has GTS-specific tuning, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and a ride height 10 mm lower than the standard setup. Rear-axle steering is optional. Which Macan GTS does this article cover?
The headline refers to the all-electric 2026 Macan GTS. Porsche USA also lists a separate 2026 gasoline Macan GTS with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, 434 hp, and a claimed 0–60 mph time of 4.3 seconds. Regional figures also differ in units and test cycles. Porsche’s global electric GTS press kit lists 380 kW (516 PS), up to 420 kW (571 PS) overboost, up to 586 km combined WLTP range, and 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. What did Porsche announce for US pricing?
Porsche Cars North America announced a US MSRP of $103,000 in its October 2025 launch release and said first US deliveries were expected at Porsche Centers in spring 2026.
