What’s new on the 2026 Nissan Pathfinder?
Nissan’s U.S. update focuses on appearance, cabin technology, and selected trim equipment. It does not announce a replacement powertrain.
- Exterior: Revised front and rear fascias, satin exterior badges, and a new available Baltic Teal paint color.
- Cabin: A restyled dashboard with embossed PATHFINDER lettering and a standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen.
- Connectivity: Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are standard on every U.S. grade, Nissan says.
- Charging: Nissan describes a redesigned Qi2 wireless device charger. Availability varies by trim; consult the official 2026 Pathfinder brochure for equipment details.
Nissan’s U.S. announcement says: “All 2026 Nissan Pathfinder grades now feature a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with newly standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™.”
Which Pathfinder trims get the notable equipment?
Rock Creek
The Rock Creek is the off-road-oriented grade, with an off-road-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, a tubular roof rack, and other trim-specific hardware. Nissan’s U.S. pricing announcement also describes a new Rock Creek Premium package. Check the brochure for package contents and availability.

SL and Platinum camera features
In the U.S. lineup, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum add Front Wide View and Invisible Hood View systems built on the available HD Intelligent Around View Monitor. These camera features are trim- and equipment-specific, not standard across every Pathfinder.
Platinum
Platinum receives a new 20-inch wheel design, revised seat quilting, and wood-tone trim.

Equipment descriptions differ by market. Nissan Canada’s Canadian press kit covers Canadian grades and equipment; its details should not be assumed to apply to U.S. vehicles.
Engine, transmission, and towing capacity
Nissan lists a 3.5-liter V6 producing 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

Nissan quotes 3,500 pounds of standard towing capacity and up to 6,000 pounds depending on configuration. The maximum is not a rating for every Pathfinder; check the specific vehicle’s configuration and towing requirements before selecting a trailer.

The following are manufacturer-announced U.S. MSRPs from Nissan’s December 22, 2025 release. Nissan listed destination and handling separately at $1,575.

These are announced MSRPs, not a guarantee of a dealer’s current selling price or local availability. The clearest everyday change is the standard larger touchscreen with wireless phone integration across U.S. grades. The engine and transmission remain as Nissan lists them, while camera systems, Platinum finishes, and Rock Creek hardware distinguish particular trims. Choose based on the equipment and drivetrain you need, and confirm the individual vehicle’s configuration before relying on its towing rating or listed price.
