2026 Mercedes-AMG SL 55 price
Mercedes-Benz USA lists the 2026 AMG SL 55 at $145,250 MSRP in its 2026 model-year pricing overview. Cars.com lists the same starting MSRP for its 2026 SL 55 entry.
The current Mercedes-Benz AMG SL Roadster page displays a $147,750 starting price for the SL 55, but it does not identify that configuration as a 2026 model. It should not be substituted for the model-year-specific MSRP above. MSRP is not a dealer quote or a guaranteed transaction price; the reviewed sources do not establish destination charges, option costs, incentives, markups, or local availability.
2026 SL 55 engine, drivetrain and performance
The SL 55 uses a handcrafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, according to Mercedes-AMG’s technical materials for the SL’s launch. Mercedes-Benz’s current model page lists output at 469 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, with an estimated 0–60 mph time of 3.8 seconds. Those current-page specifications are not independently confirmed here as a 2026-specific spec sheet, and the acceleration time is the manufacturer’s estimate.

Soft top, seating and chassis
The SL is a roadster with a 2+2 seating layout and a triple-layer power soft top. Mercedes-Benz’s July 2022 U.S. pricing and trim announcement describes the configuration and soft top.
Mercedes’ launch-era materials describe AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension as standard on the SL 55 and AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL, which uses active hydraulic roll stabilization, as an option. The current official model page also lists rear-axle steering as available on the SL 55 and SL 63. These details are not a verified 2026 build sheet: confirm the equipment on a 2026 order guide or the dealer’s build sheet before ordering.

Photos and model-year identification
The official Mercedes-Benz SL page has model imagery, while Cars.com’s 2026 SL 55 listing includes a photo and video gallery. Neither source, as described here, establishes that every image on its page depicts a specifically identified 2026 model-year vehicle. Treat images as current-generation SL imagery unless a caption or image metadata identifies the model year. No 2026-specific official color and equipment catalog was verified.

For additional context, Cars.com lists 16 mpg combined, 185.2 inches in length and 53.5 inches in height for its 2026 SL 55 entry. These figures are attributed to Cars.com and were not confirmed against a 2026 Mercedes-Benz manufacturer document.
