The latest official U.S. starting MSRP for the 2026 Mazda3 is $24,650 for the sedan and $25,650 for the hatchback, effective May 4, 2026. Those figures are each $100 higher than Mazda’s original August 2025 announcement. They exclude destination and handling, taxes, title, license and other fees, so they are not final purchase prices.
What changed from Mazda’s original 2026 Mazda3 prices?
Mazda North American Operations initially announced starting MSRPs of $24,550 for the 2026 Mazda3 Sedan and $25,550 for the Hatchback on August 19, 2025. On May 4, 2026, Mazda announced revised starting prices of $24,650 and $25,650, respectively. The later announcement makes the earlier figures historical rather than the latest official starting prices.
The updated figures are starting MSRPs before destination and handling, taxes, title, and additional fees. Mazda’s announcement does not establish what a particular dealer will charge or what an individual buyer will pay.
How much does each 2026 Mazda3 Hatchback trim cost?
Mazda’s current U.S. hatchback comparison page lists the following starting MSRPs. The destination charge is $1,315, or $1,360 in Alaska; taxes, title and license fees are also excluded, and actual dealer pricing varies.

These are Mazda’s listed hatchback trim prices, not a sedan trim ladder or dealer quotes. Features such as leatherette-trimmed seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, a power driver’s seat and heated front seats are examples of equipment offered on higher trims, not standard features across the range.
What equipment did Mazda announce for the 2026 model year?
In its August 2025 model-year announcement, Mazda said an eight-speaker Mazda Harmonic Acoustics system would become standard. It also described Premium Plus updates: a 10.25-inch infotainment display with touchscreen functionality when using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, wireless connectivity for those integrations, paddle shifters on automatic-transmission models, and a heated steering wheel. These are details from the original model-year announcement, distinct from the May 2026 price revision.

Does the Mazda3 Hatchback have remote start?
Mazda says Remote Engine Start is available through Mazda Connected Services after registration in the MyMazda app. Mazda lists a one-year trial, with monthly subscription fees thereafter. Availability and ongoing service terms should be confirmed with Mazda for the vehicle and account in question.
