The 2026 Lexus NX 350 is the NX lineup’s conventional gas-powered choice: it pairs a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive. Lexus lists 275 horsepower, 317 lb-ft of torque, a 6.6-second 0–60 mph time and EPA-estimated fuel economy of 24 mpg combined. Those are manufacturer figures, not independent test results. Whether it is the best NX depends on what you want: the 350h prioritizes fuel economy, while the 450h+ adds plug-in driving capability.
What the 2026 Lexus NX 350 offers
Lexus describes only one conventional gasoline configuration in the NX range: the NX 350 AWD. Its turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder, eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive are paired with the following published figures:
- Output: 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque.
- Acceleration: Lexus-estimated 0–60 mph in 6.6 seconds.
- Fuel economy: EPA-estimated 24 mpg combined.
These specifications are from Lexus’s 2026 model information, published in 2025. They describe the manufacturer’s claimed performance and EPA estimate, rather than independent road-test results. Lexus USA Newsroom: 2026 LEXUS NX ADDS GRADES AND DRIVETRAIN
How the NX 350 compares with the 350h and 450h+
The 350’s gas-only setup is a preference, not a universal advantage. Lexus’s published figures show substantial fuel-economy differences across the powertrains; the hybrid horsepower figure is a combined system rating, so it is not a directly equivalent measure to the gas model’s horsepower.

What changes for 2026—and what is available on the NX 350
Lexus characterizes the model-year updates as minor overall, while noting several changes across the NX range: FWD joins the 350h lineup, F SPORT Handling becomes available across all powertrains, the 450h+ gains a Premium grade, and new exterior colors are offered. These are range-wide changes; they do not mean every update applies to the NX 350 itself.

Is the 2026 Lexus NX 350 worth buying?
It is a reasonable fit if you specifically want a gas-powered NX with AWD and value the 350’s published output. If lower fuel consumption is more important, compare the 350h: Lexus estimates 39 mpg combined for AWD and 40 mpg for FWD, versus 24 mpg for the 350. Choose the 450h+ instead if plug-in capability suits your driving and you can charge it. Check the equipment and price of the exact grade you want before deciding; a lower base price alone does not establish which powertrain is the better value.
