Indian Motorcycle’s 2026 Scout range adds two models: the touring-oriented Sport Scout RT and the Sport Scout Sixty. In the United States, the five-model lineup shown on Indian’s 2026 consumer page starts at $9,999 and reaches $13,499 before destination, handling, tax, title, license and registration charges. Equipment, colors and availability differ by market, so the EMEA announcement and US pricing should not be treated as a single worldwide specification.
What’s new for 2026?
Indian’s 4 November 2025 announcement identifies the Sport Scout RT and Sport Scout Sixty as the principal additions to the 2026 range. The company also announced new paint and graphics and expanded accessory choices.
Sport Scout RT
The Sport Scout RT is the Scout configured most explicitly for carrying luggage and covering longer rides. Its standard equipment includes locking rigid saddlebags with more than 37 litres of combined weatherproof capacity, a quarter fairing, a 19-inch front wheel, moto-style risers and a sport solo seat. Indian positions it for commuting, cruising and weekend trips; those are the manufacturer’s intended use cases, not independent test conclusions.
Sport Scout Sixty
The Sport Scout Sixty gives the smaller-engine Scout Sixty platform a sportier appearance and riding setup. The EMEA release describes Mini Ape handlebars with integrated risers, a sport-style seat, quarter fairing, standard mid controls, a low seat height, a low center of gravity and a 19-inch front wheel. That release lists Black Smoke and says an A2 specification is available for younger riders. Confirm the exact color, licensing specification and availability with the Indian distributor in your country.

Which 2026 Scout models are listed?
Regional catalogs are not identical. Indian’s EMEA media catalog lists the Scout Sixty Bobber, Scout Sixty Classic, Scout Bobber, Scout Classic, Super Scout, 101 Scout, Sport Scout RT and Sport Scout Sixty. The US consumer lineup page lists five models: Scout Sixty Bobber, Sport Scout Sixty, Scout Sixty Classic, Scout Bobber and Sport Scout. A model appearing in one regional list is not proof that it is sold in every market.

What is the difference between the Scout Sixty and full Scout models?
Scout Sixty: 999 cc and five speeds
Indian’s Sport Scout Sixty specification lists a liquid-cooled SpeedPlus engine with 999 cc displacement, manufacturer-rated output of 85 hp and peak torque of 65 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm. It uses a five-speed transmission. Those are Indian’s published figures, not independent dynamometer results. The Scout Sixty engine is used in the Scout Sixty Bobber, Sport Scout Sixty and Scout Sixty Classic family, although equipment and calibration can vary by model and market.

Full Scout platform: 1250 cc and six speeds
Indian’s Super Scout product material describes the broader Scout platform with a redesigned liquid-cooled 1250 cc V-twin, up to 82 kW, more than 109 Nm of torque and a six-speed transmission. Because those figures come from a general platform page, verify the model-specific specification sheet before applying every number to a particular trim.

What technology trims are available?
Indian describes three equipment levels across eligible Scout configurations:
- Standard: core motorcycle equipment.
- Limited: adds rider technology.
- Limited +Tech: adds a 101 mm round RIDE COMMAND touchscreen with GPS/navigation, configurable gauges, ride statistics and related functions.
Trim availability is model-specific. Connectivity and navigation functions may not be offered in every country, and an option shown for one Scout should not be assumed to be available for another. Confirm the exact equipment list on the local configurator or dealer order sheet.

Does the Sport Scout RT come with saddlebags?
Yes. The 2026 Sport Scout RT includes factory-fitted locking rigid saddlebags with more than 37 litres of combined weatherproof capacity. Indian separately says its locking rigid saddlebags are compatible with all 2025–2026 Scout models, subject to the required mounting hardware and model-year fitment. The RT is therefore the only model in this US comparison with that luggage identified as standard in the announcement; accessory installation on another Scout should be confirmed before purchase.
Which accessories fit a 2026 Indian Scout?
Indian announced these physical accessories and compatibility claims:
- PowerBand Audio Bluetooth Speaker: mounts between the Scout handlebar risers and a quarter fairing. Indian lists compatibility with 2025–2026 Sport Scout, Sport Scout Sixty, Sport Scout RT and 101 Scout models equipped with an Indian Motorcycle Quarter Fairing.
- Locking Rigid Saddlebags: more than 37 litres combined; standard on the 2026 Sport Scout RT and announced as compatible with 2025–2026 Scout models.
- 200 mm Pullback Handlebar Risers: listed for all 2025–2026 Scout models and intended to reduce reach on the Sport Scout, Sport Scout RT and 101 Scout.
- Gilles Tooling adjustable brake and clutch levers: an ergonomic adjustment option. Verify the exact part number and fitment for the motorcycle and market.
Fairing, riser and luggage compatibility can depend on the installed equipment and model year. Treat these as manufacturer announcements, not proof of current inventory, third-party compatibility or a particular dealer’s price.
What should buyers verify before ordering?
- Confirm that the model is sold in your country; EMEA and US catalogs differ.
- Check the local engine, A2, emissions and licensing specification.
- Request a written out-the-door price including destination, handling, taxes, title, registration and dealer charges.
- Confirm whether the desired technology trim, color, fairing and luggage are standard, optional or unavailable on that exact build.
- Have the dealer verify accessory fitment against the motorcycle’s model year and installed fairing or risers.
What the 2026 announcement does—and does not—establish
The published material is from Indian Motorcycle. It establishes the announced equipment, manufacturer-rated specifications and US starting MSRPs above, but it does not provide independent acceleration, braking, fuel-economy, comfort or handling testing. Indian executive Aaron Jax described the launch by saying, “Scout is a market-leading, globally recognised icon, and with the debut of the Sport Scout RT, we’re redefining what it means to ride an Indian Scout.” That is promotional commentary from the manufacturer, not an independently verified ranking.
