Honda says every U.S. trim now includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument display and Post-Collision Braking. The six-trim lineup continues to vary by drivetrain, comfort features and price.
What changed for 2026?
Honda announced the update on November 18, 2025, and said the Pilot would reach dealerships the following month. In a December 15 update, the automaker said the refreshed model was arriving at dealers that day. These are Honda’s U.S.-market announcements; availability may differ elsewhere.
The most visible changes are inside. Honda says the touchscreen is 37% larger than the previous model year’s, while the digital instrument display is 43% larger. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in and 5G Wi-Fi capability are also listed as standard. Connected services and wireless connectivity can depend on market, carrier and service availability.
Outside, Honda describes a redesigned front fascia with a larger grille and new color choices. The company also says it revised steering feel and precision and reduced cabin noise by 2–3 dB in key frequencies. Those figures and driving-character claims are Honda’s, not independent test results; the cited material does not establish how noticeable the changes are in everyday driving.

For a buyer comparing equipment, the Touring’s surround-view camera and the TrailSport’s heated rear outboard seats are concrete examples of features that are not simply shared across all six trims. Confirm the full standard and optional equipment list before choosing a configuration.
U.S. pricing and EPA fuel economy
Honda’s December 15, 2025 U.S. announcement lists the following starting MSRPs before destination. It gives a destination and handling charge of $1,495. Prices and equipment can change, so verify current figures with Honda or a dealer.

The mileage figures are Honda’s published EPA ratings, not real-world test results. The announcement’s cited details establish the Sport 2WD and EX-L 2WD ratings at 19/27/22 mpg and TrailSport AWD at 18/23/20 mpg; ratings for other configurations should be checked in the current EPA or Honda listing rather than inferred.
What Honda says about safety

Honda also says Post-Collision Braking is standard on every trim and is intended to help mitigate harm in multi-crash collisions. These are the manufacturer’s feature descriptions; the cited sources provide no independent crash-test rating or assessment of safety performance.

The key point is that the larger screens are not reserved for an upper trim: Honda says they are standard across the 2026 Pilot lineup. Trim choice still affects particular equipment, cabin details, drivetrain availability, price and fuel economy. The refresh also brings Honda-claimed changes to steering and cabin noise, but the available manufacturer material does not independently confirm those on-road impressions.
