That is a historical launch price: Honda’s latest listed 2026 pricing, dated September 9, 2026, puts the RTL at $44,950 MSRP, or $46,545 including destination, before tax, title, registration, and options.
When did the 2026 Honda Passport arrive at dealers?
Honda said the all-new 2026 Passport “begins arriving at dealerships today” in its February 11, 2025 announcement. The statement refers to the start of arrivals, not a guarantee that every dealer had a vehicle in stock that day. Honda’s announcement is at Honda News.
What does the 2026 Passport cost?
The $44,750 figure was the RTL’s launch MSRP announced in February 2025. At that time, Honda listed a $1,450 destination charge separately. Honda’s later September 9, 2026 pricing release lists the RTL at $44,950 MSRP and $46,545 total suggested retail price (TSRP), including a $1,595 destination charge. Honda says dealer prices may vary; the TSRP excludes tax, title, registration, options, and applicable color upgrades.

What do the Passport trims offer?
RTL versions
The RTL is the entry configuration. Honda also lists RTL Towing and RTL Blackout variants; the names identify their towing-oriented and appearance-package positioning. All three RTL versions share the same EPA estimates in Honda’s published figures.

TrailSport versions
TrailSport is the off-road-oriented family. Honda lists an off-road-tuned suspension, expanded AWD capability, steel underbody skid plates, exposed recovery points, and specially developed all-terrain tires. The TrailSport Blackout adds the blackout appearance treatment.
TrailSport Elite versions
TrailSport Elite combines the TrailSport positioning with added equipment. Honda’s launch announcement identifies a TrailWatch camera system, perforated leather seating, and 12-speaker Bose audio. TrailSport Elite Blackout is the highest-priced configuration in Honda’s current listed range. Honda describes TrailSport as its most off-road-capable SUV; that is the manufacturer’s characterization, not an independent comparative test finding.

What powertrain and fuel economy does it have?
Honda lists a 3.5-liter V6 producing 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. All 2026 Passport configurations have standard i-VTM4 all-wheel drive. Honda’s EPA estimates are 19 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined for RTL variants; TrailSport variants are listed at 18/23/20 mpg.
