Honda’s CB1000F has reached production-market form for 2026: a 1,000cc inline-four roadster that pairs styling inspired by the 1979 CB750F with modern suspension, a TFT display and electronic rider aids. Honda first showed a CB1000F concept in 2025; the production CB1000F and CB1000F SE were announced in Japan on October 10, 2025, with subsequent 2026 model information published for the U.S. and UK.
What the Honda CB1000F is
The CB1000F is a road-going naked motorcycle with a liquid-cooled, DOHC inline-four engine and a six-speed manual transmission, according to Honda’s U.S. specifications. Honda describes the engine as based on a supersport design but tuned for accessible response across varied riding situations. Its Japan launch information also cites revised cam timing and lift, intake tuning, shorter gearing in first and second, and gearing intended to make highway cruising more relaxed.
Honda presents the design as a modern interpretation of its CB heritage. The flowing line from tank through side cover to rear cowl takes inspiration from the 1979 CB750F; the UK model page also highlights a round headlight and racing-inspired stripes.
Specifications vary by market
Honda’s regional figures describe their respective market versions. They should not be treated as one universal specification sheet.

Chassis and rider technology
Honda lists Showa SFF-BP suspension and IMU-informed braking electronics among the model’s modern equipment. The details and terminology published on Honda’s regional pages differ, so riders should consult the page for their market when checking controls and standard equipment.

U.S. controls
Honda’s U.S. materials describe five ride modes: Standard, Sport, Rain and two User modes. Honda Selectable Torque Control is also listed. The U.S. page identifies throttle-by-wire and a five-inch TFT display.
UK controls
Honda UK describes a six-axis IMU working with cornering ABS, plus three preset riding modes and two custom setups. Its wording and mode description should not be assumed to match every regional configuration.

Honda Japan announced the standard CB1000F for launch on November 14, 2025, and the CB1000F SE for January 16, 2026. The SE is a Japan-announced version with additional equipment; do not assume its name or package carries over unchanged to other markets.

Honda’s U.S. CB1000F page says 18 new accessories are available. Honda UK groups its accessories into Sport, Comfort and Travel packs, with examples including a headlight cowl, radiator grille, tank-side sticker, quick shifter, comfort seat, tank pad, grip heater, saddlebag and tank bag. Availability and pack contents are market-specific. Check local Honda listings and the exact model year and part number before buying a CB1000F saddlebag, comfort seat or other accessory.

A useful comparison with another neo-retro roadster would need same-market, same-model-year figures for output, weight, seat height, rider aids, included equipment, delivered price and luggage options.
