Ford lists the 2026 Mustang Dark Horse SC at a starting MSRP of $106,090 in the United States. That is the manufacturer’s listed base price—not an out-the-door quote. Options, destination charges, taxes, dealer fees and any market adjustment can change the amount a buyer pays.
What does the $106,090 starting price include?
Ford’s current U.S. Mustang lineup page lists the Dark Horse SC starting at $106,090 MSRP. The figure is a useful baseline for comparing the car, but it does not establish the final price of a particular build or dealer transaction. Check Ford’s 2026 Mustang lineup and pricing and get a current local dealer quote before budgeting for a purchase.
Ford’s lineup page also lists the regular Dark Horse and Dark Horse Premium, but prices and equipment can change. Compare current figures on that same page if you are deciding between trims.
What does the Dark Horse SC offer for the money?
Supercharged V8 and dual-clutch transmission
Ford specifies a supercharged 5.2-liter cross-plane-crank V8, a seven-speed TREMEC dual-clutch transmission and a carbon-fiber driveshaft. Ford rates output at up to 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque; those are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured test results. Details are on Ford’s Dark Horse SC model page.

Track Pack equipment
Ford describes the available Track Pack as adding equipment intended for more track-focused use. Its listed elements differ from the standard setup in several key areas:
| Area | Track Pack detail stated by Ford | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| Wheels | 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels | The standard wheel construction and size are not stated here. |
| Brakes | Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes | The standard brake specification is not stated here. |
| Suspension | Package-specific MagneRide calibration | A measured ride or handling comparison is not stated. |
| Aerodynamics | Distinct aerodynamic pieces | Independent aerodynamic or lap-time results are not stated. |
Ford does not state a Track Pack option price on the cited model page. The available information also does not establish independent lap times, stopping distances, ride-quality differences or real-world operating costs, so the equipment list should not be read as proof of a specific performance gain.

When can buyers order the 2026 Dark Horse SC?
Ford announced the Dark Horse SC in January 2026, initially planning spring ordering and summer deliveries. In its April 20, 2026 update, Ford said orders were open and initial deliveries were scheduled for summer. These are announced plans, not confirmation that a specific dealer has inventory or a particular delivery slot.
Ford directs shoppers to its build-and-price and dealer-ordering process. Use those channels to configure the car, then confirm availability, timing and the complete price with a local dealer. Ford Racing’s launch announcement is available at Race-Bred Street Cred: Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC; the April order update is at The Wait Is Over: Your Seat in the 795-Horsepower Mustang Dark Horse SC Is Ready.

What the listed price does not tell you
The $106,090 MSRP does not confirm a buyer’s transaction price, dealer markup, financing terms, insurance cost, fuel economy or long-term ownership costs. Those depend on the specific build, location, dealer and buyer; obtain current figures directly rather than treating the starting MSRP as a complete ownership budget.
