The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X pairs a twin-turbo V8 with a front electric drive unit for Chevrolet’s stated 1,250 combined horsepower and all-wheel drive. Chevrolet’s August 2025 launch announcement listed prices from $207,395 for a 1LZ coupe, including destination; its later September 2026 lineup page showed a different, lineup-level starting figure of $227,500. The figures refer to different contexts, so they should not be treated as interchangeable.
How much is a 2026 Corvette ZR1X?
Chevrolet’s August 6, 2025 announcement gave trim- and body-style-specific 2026 MSRPs. The listed prices for the 1LZ and 3LZ include a $1,995 destination freight charge. Chevrolet says taxes, title, license, dealer fees and optional equipment are extra, and the dealer sets the final price. Chevrolet’s 2026 pricing announcement lists:
| 2026 configuration | Chevrolet-listed MSRP |
|---|---|
| 1LZ coupe | $207,395, including $1,995 destination freight charge |
| 1LZ convertible | $217,395, including $1,995 destination freight charge |
| 3LZ coupe | $218,395, including $1,995 destination freight charge |
| 3LZ convertible | $228,395, including $1,995 destination freight charge |
| Quail Silver Limited Edition | $241,395 before delivery fees; exclusive to the 3LZ convertible |
A separate Chevrolet AWD lineup page, listed as current in September 2026, gives the 2026 ZR1X a $227,500 starting figure. That is a lineup-level figure, not a replacement for the earlier trim-by-trim announcement. Chevrolet’s current ZR1X model page concerns the 2027 model year, so its price is not a 2026 price. Check dealer inventory and pricing for a current offer; the final transaction price can differ from MSRP. Chevrolet ZR1X model page · Chevrolet AWD lineup page

How the hybrid all-wheel-drive system works
The V8 drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission; an electric drive unit powers the front axle. Chevrolet says the two power sources are not mechanically connected, and the system does not need to be plugged in: regenerative braking charges its 1.9-kWh battery. Chevrolet also says the front axle can provide drive through 160 mph before disconnecting.
Chevrolet’s engineering description includes dual 76-mm turbochargers, a forged flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication and dynamic anti-lag controls. These are manufacturer-described design details rather than independent engineering findings.

How fast is the Corvette ZR1X?
Chevrolet’s quickest published ZR1X result is a 1.68-second 0–60 mph run and an 8.675-second quarter-mile at 159 mph. Chevrolet says the car made those runs on a prepped surface in October 2025 at US 131 Motorsports Park, using standard Michelin PS4S tires and standard aero configuration, with available carbon-fiber wheels. The company also reports multiple back-to-back quarter-mile runs under 8.8 seconds. These are Chevrolet-reported test results, not independent road-test figures. Chevrolet’s January 2026 performance report
Chevrolet separately reports a 1.89-second 0–60 mph time and an 8.99-second quarter-mile at 157 mph on an unprepped surface for a ZR1X equipped with the available ZTK Performance Package. Chevrolet’s footnotes specify closed-course testing and timing based on initial vehicle movement. Because the surface and equipment differ, these figures are not an apples-to-apples comparison with the prepped-surface result.

At launch, Chevrolet had estimated 0–60 mph in under two seconds and a quarter-mile in under nine seconds, with a trap speed above 150 mph. Those estimates were superseded by the later reported test results under the specific conditions described above.
What is the difference between the ZR1X coupe and convertible?
Chevrolet offered both body styles in 1LZ and 3LZ for 2026. In the August 2025 price list, the convertible cost $10,000 more than the coupe in either trim: $217,395 versus $207,395 for 1LZ, and $228,395 versus $218,395 for 3LZ. The Quail Silver Limited Edition is an exception to the general body-style choice: Chevrolet says it is exclusive to the 3LZ convertible.

1LZ and 3LZ trims
The 1LZ and 3LZ are the two trims priced in Chevrolet’s 2026 launch announcement. The available source material supplies the prices but does not establish a complete equipment-by-equipment comparison between them, so specific interior, comfort or technology differences should be confirmed against the vehicle’s window sticker or with a Chevrolet dealer.
