The 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is Cadillac’s top-performing CT5 sedan, pairing a 668-hp supercharged V8 with a standard six-speed manual transmission. A 10-speed automatic is available. Cadillac lists a starting MSRP of $98,900, and describes the four-door as a five-seat sedan with 37 inches of rear legroom and 11.9 cubic feet of cargo volume.
What is the CT5-V Blackwing?
The Blackwing is the high-performance version of Cadillac’s CT5 luxury sedan. It is distinct from the CT5-V: the Blackwing has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, while the CT5-V uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. The Blackwing’s powertrain and track-oriented equipment set it apart, but it retains four doors, five listed seats and everyday-use cabin and trunk space.
Engine, horsepower and transmission
Cadillac rates the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 at 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque when using premium gasoline. A six-speed manual transmission is standard; a 10-speed automatic is available. Cadillac associates the automatic configuration with available Super Cruise and a three-year OnStar One plan. Confirm equipment and connected-service terms for the specific vehicle, since availability and service terms can change.
For its current 2026 product and specification pages, Cadillac lists 659 lb-ft. A 2026 GM announcement reported 658 lb-ft, a one-pound-foot difference; the current Cadillac figure is used here.

How fast is the CT5-V Blackwing?
Cadillac quotes 0–60 mph in 3.4 seconds and a racetrack top speed greater than 200 mph. These are manufacturer-reported figures, not independent test results. The top-speed claim is specifically for racetrack use, not a recommended or legal public-road speed.
Track-focused equipment and options
Standard performance equipment listed by Cadillac includes Brembo front and rear brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, custom launch control with line lock, a Driver Mode Selector and an Enhanced Performance Data Recorder.

The available Precision Package adds track-focused suspension tuning and chassis electronic calibrations. Cadillac says the package includes carbon-ceramic brakes with cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Other listed options include Carbon Fiber Exterior Packages, 19-inch forged wheels in different finishes, a rear camera mirror, and a sueded microfiber steering wheel and shifter. Equipment varies by configuration; check the individual car’s window sticker or build details rather than assuming an option is standard.
Price of the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing
Cadillac lists a starting MSRP of $98,900. Its model page also displays $100,125 as shown; neither figure is an out-the-door quote. Cadillac says MSRP excludes destination freight charge, tax, title, license, dealer fees and optional equipment, and that the dealer sets the final price. The amount for a particular car depends on its equipment and dealer pricing.

Passenger space and dimensions
The Blackwing is listed as seating up to five. Cadillac’s specifications give it 42.4 inches of front legroom, 37 inches of rear legroom and 11.9 cubic feet of cargo volume. Its listed length is 194.9 inches, wheelbase 116 inches and width with mirrors 80.3 inches. Cadillac lists a 56.5-inch height and 4.9 inches of ground clearance with the Carbon Fiber Package.
