How much does a 2025 Toyota Corolla cost?
Toyota’s 2025 model page lists these base MSRPs and estimated city/highway fuel economy figures. Toyota says its MSRP excludes a $1,135 dealer processing and handling fee. These are model-year published prices, not current regional quotes; options, taxes, fees, incentives, inventory, and negotiated prices can change what a buyer pays.

Which 2025 Corolla trims and powertrains are available?
Gas Corolla: LE, SE, FX and XSE
The gas sedan range includes LE, SE, FX and XSE. The listed prices rise from $22,325 for LE to $28,040 for XSE. Toyota gives the gas models estimates spanning 31–32 mpg city and 38–41 mpg highway, depending on trim.

Corolla Hybrid: LE, SE and XLE, with selected AWD versions
The hybrid range includes LE, SE and XLE, with all-wheel drive listed for LE and SE. The highest published estimates are 53 city/46 highway mpg for Hybrid LE and Hybrid XLE. The AWD and SE versions have lower estimates, down to 47 city/41 highway for Hybrid SE AWD. AWD availability is therefore not a universal hybrid feature, and mpg varies by configuration.
To compare value, match equipment as well as price: a headline base MSRP alone does not account for the features on a particular car or local selling conditions. Toyota’s 2025 Corolla eBrochure is the reference for trim equipment.

What is the 2025 Corolla mpg?
Toyota’s listed estimates vary by trim and drivetrain. Gas Corolla estimates range from 31 to 32 mpg city and 38 to 41 mpg highway. Hybrid estimates range from 47 to 53 mpg city and 41 to 46 mpg highway; the top listed 53 city/46 highway figures apply to Hybrid LE and Hybrid XLE, not every hybrid. These are manufacturer estimates, and actual fuel economy can differ with driving style, conditions, and vehicle use. Toyota provides its 2025 Corolla mileage estimates online.
How much horsepower does a 2025 Corolla have?
Gas engine
Toyota specifies a 2.0-liter gas engine with 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. Gas models use a Dynamic Shift continuously variable transmission. Toyota describes a gearset that handles initial acceleration before the transmission transitions to its CVT pulley system; that is the manufacturer’s explanation, not an independent road-test assessment. Hybrid system
Toyota reports 138 net combined horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque for the hybrid. Its lower stated horsepower than the gas engine does not by itself establish how quickly either version accelerates; horsepower figures alone are not a substitute for a same-year, same-condition acceleration test. Toyota’s 2025 Corolla Hybrid announcement lists the hybrid output.
What the available acceleration evidence does—and does not—show
An 8.8-second 0–60 mph result appears in an AP-carried Edmunds comparison framed around the 2026 model. It is not a 2025-specific test result, so it should not be used as the 2025 Corolla’s measured acceleration time. The AP comparison provides that 2026-model context.

What safety and multimedia equipment does it include?
Driver assistance
Toyota says Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on the 2025 Corolla. The company highlights Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Proactive Driving Assist, including Obstacle Anticipation Assist and Deceleration Assist. These are driver-assistance features, not autonomous driving. Their operation and limitations matter, so consult Toyota’s descriptions and the vehicle’s owner information rather than treating them as a substitute for driver attention. Toyota’s announcement identifies the standard safety suite.
Multimedia
Toyota’s model page describes a 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, six speakers, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Availability can be trim-specific; check the 2025 eBrochure for the equipment on the configuration you are considering instead of assuming every item is standard across the lineup.

Is the 2025 Corolla Hybrid worth it?
The hybrid is the clear option to investigate if fuel economy is your priority: Toyota lists substantially higher mpg estimates for its hybrid trims than for the gas sedan, with the exact advantage depending on configuration. The gas model, meanwhile, has higher stated horsepower. The right comparison is between the specific trims you would buy, including their equipment and local prices—not a blanket comparison of “hybrid” against “gas.”
For a purchase decision, compare local quotes for equivalent equipment and consider your expected driving. Toyota’s published model-year base MSRPs and estimated mpg are useful starting points, but they do not determine your final transaction price or personal fuel use.
