2025 Tesla Cybertruck prices and configurations
Cars.com identifies rear-wheel drive as a new entry-level configuration for the 2025 lineup and lists a starting price of $69,990. That is a model-year comparison figure, not a universal transaction price. Actual purchase prices vary with configuration, options, destination, incentives and purchase date.

Cars.com separately reports that its tested 2025 AWD Cybertruck had a sticker price of $85,485, including a $1,995 destination fee. The tested truck had optional 20-inch Cyber wheels and 35-inch tires; Cars.com lists that wheel-and-tire option at $3,500. These figures describe a specific reviewed vehicle and its equipment, not an AWD trim’s base price. See Cars.com’s 2025 Cybertruck review and model-year data for that context.
Tesla’s current Cybertruck page shows present-day product information and imagery. Because Tesla’s page and inventory can change, its live advertised price should not be treated as the 2025 model-year MSRP.

2025 Cybertruck towing capacity and limits

These are Tesla-stated maxima, not guaranteed capacities for every truck or trip. The limits are conditioned on wheel size, gross vehicle weight and load. Passengers, cargo and equipment carried in the Cybertruck can reduce the available towing and tongue-weight capacity. Confirm the applicable figures for the vehicle and setup in Tesla’s Cybertruck towing guidance before towing.
Expect less range while towing
A trailer adds substantial work for the vehicle. Tesla warns that “Towing a trailer puts additional load on the motors, drive train, brakes, tires, and suspension and significantly decreases range.” The available information does not establish a single towing-range figure: trailer weight and shape, speed, terrain, weather and vehicle load affect consumption.

Trailer ball mount: what the Cybertruck supports
Tesla’s towing guide says the hitch receiver accepts a 2-inch ball mount, which must be purchased separately. That describes the mount’s receiver fit, not a complete towing setup or a universal recommendation. Before buying, verify the required rise or drop, the trailer’s coupler ball diameter, the mount’s rated capacity and the trailer’s requirements. The mount and the rest of the towing equipment must suit the actual trailer and loaded vehicle.
What Cars.com reports about the bed and cabin
In its 2025 review, Cars.com describes a substantial bed, under-bed storage and a front trunk (frunk). The reviewer also found that the truck’s angled sides made some parts of the bed harder to access. Those are review observations, not measurements of usable cargo volume.

The reviewer reported that the glass roof let in heat during hot, sunny weather. Cars.com notes that its reviewer did not conduct off-road, towing or hauling tests, so the review should not be read as an independent test of those capabilities. It also cited a $75 windshield-wiper replacement price listed on Tesla’s site at the time; that dated figure is not a current service-price quote.

Tesla’s official product page provides current imagery, but current-page photos do not necessarily document a particular 2025 trim or equipment package. When comparing pictures, check the caption and vehicle details: wheels, tires and other visible features may be optional rather than standard.
