Yes—the 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness was listed in Subaru of America’s U.S. lineup. The confusion is that it did not get the same redesign as the main 2025 Forester range: it carried over on the prior-generation architecture while the rest of the lineup moved to a new generation. So the Wilderness trim existed for 2025, but it was not the redesigned Wilderness some shoppers may have expected.

Why wasn’t it redesigned with the other 2025 Foresters?

If your priority is the redesigned 2025 Forester, verify that the specific vehicle you are considering belongs to that redesigned range; the Wilderness was the carryover exception. If your priority is Wilderness equipment, compare the listed tires, clearance, drive modes, and protective hardware on the actual vehicle. The available evidence supports describing the equipment and generation difference, but not ranking the Wilderness against other trims for comfort, reliability, value, or real-world performance.
