The 2025 Polaris RZR Pro lineup is built around three different priorities: the Pro R for desert terrain and maximum power, the Pro S for wide-open terrain, and the narrower Pro XP for tight trails. Polaris announced all three in two- and four-seat configurations, with model-specific engines, dimensions, trims and equipment. The specifications and terrain positioning below are Polaris’s claims, not results from independent comparative testing.

Which model makes sense for your riding?
Choose the Pro R for power and desert-focused equipment
The Pro R has the lineup’s highest announced output: 225 hp from its naturally aspirated ProStar Fury 2.0-liter four-cylinder. Polaris lists a 74-inch stance, 104.5-inch wheelbase and 29 inches of usable suspension travel. Its announcement also describes MaxLink suspension, driver-selectable Pro Performance True 4WD and DYNAMIX DV semi-active suspension on specified configurations. Check the exact trim and seating version to confirm which equipment is included.
Choose the Pro S for a wide 74-inch platform with a turbo engine
Polaris lists the Pro S at 181 hp, 74 inches wide and a 96-inch wheelbase. The company describes on-demand AWD and a CVT transmission. The 2025 model name reflects a change: Polaris renamed the former Turbo R as the Pro S.

Choose the Pro XP when trail width is the priority
The Pro XP pairs a 181-hp turbocharged engine with a 64-inch width and 96-inch wheelbase. Polaris positions it as the narrower option for tight trails. Its 2025 update includes a new lower low gear and the Pro S transmission, which Polaris says are intended to improve low-speed modulation on steep, technical climbs.
Cabin and trim updates for 2025
Polaris said all three models received fresh cabin air intakes and radiator deflectors intended to manage airflow and reduce cabin temperature. Fang lighting returned, and the interiors were revised. These are manufacturer-stated design aims; the announcement does not provide independent temperature or comfort measurements.

Accessories: verify fit by model, trim and seat count
Polaris announced more than 120 new accessories for the 2025 lineup, including revised rock sliders and bumpers, audio kits, armrest pads, a GatorStep roof liner, door-sealing and windshield improvements, and a flat rear panel. The announcement describes a range of accessories; it does not establish universal fitment across every vehicle configuration.

For audio, the Polaris 2025 RZR accessories catalog lists a PMX-P2 head unit (part 2890410), rear speakers (2890411), a 400-watt amplifier (2890412), and 10-inch or 12-inch subwoofers (2890413 and 2890414). The catalog gives compatibility for specified Pro R, Pro S and Pro XP configurations; it explicitly excludes Premium and Ultimate models from the PMX-P2 head unit listing. Check the catalog for your precise model year, trim and seat configuration before ordering.

Polaris’s announcement supports a clear product comparison: the Pro R offers the highest stated power and longest listed wheelbase, the Pro S combines a 74-inch width with a turbocharged engine, and the Pro XP is 10 inches narrower than the other two. Those differences can help match a vehicle to a terrain priority, but they do not establish that the lineup is objectively a new category standard or superior to competing machines. Polaris’s claims about performance, comfort and capability should be understood as manufacturer positioning unless independently tested.
