The 2025 MINI Cooper Hardtop launched in the U.S. with four configurations: Cooper or Cooper S, each available as a 2 Door or 4 Door. Launch base prices ranged from $28,950 to $33,200, before a $995 destination and handling charge. The Cooper S models make 201 horsepower; the 4 Door adds rear-door access and more flexible cargo space.

The MINI 2 Door product page lists 156 hp for Cooper and 201 hp and 221 lb-ft for Cooper S; its Cooper S acceleration note refers to a global figure and says U.S. data was to be confirmed. The later U.S. release is the relevant source for the U.S. 2 Door Cooper S time.
All four configurations are front-wheel drive in the cited U.S. materials. Do not confuse the Hardtop with MINI’s Countryman ALL4 system.

2 Door or 4 Door: what changes?
The 4 Door is 6.3 inches longer and 1.2 inches taller than the 2 Door, with a longer wheelbase, according to MINI. The added size brings rear-door access and more passenger and cargo utility, while the 2 Door has the smaller footprint.
MINI says the rear compartment can seat three passengers. Its 60:40 split-folding rear seats allow the luggage compartment to expand from 9.71 cubic feet to as much as 32.66 cubic feet. Those are manufacturer-reported capacities; how useful the space is depends on the passengers and cargo being carried.

MINI reported that Cooper S 4 Door production began in July 2024, with first U.S. dealer arrivals in September 2024. Cooper 4 Door production began in November 2024, with U.S. arrivals in January 2025. These dates describe the original rollout, not current dealer inventory.
The 2025 U.S. MINI warranty booklet states that the new-vehicle limited warranty runs for four years or 50,000 miles, subject to its terms, limitations and exclusions. Coverage starts based on the first retail sale or qualifying earlier in-service use. For a used 2025 car, remaining coverage depends on its history and in-service date; verify eligibility with MINI or a dealer.

What to check when comparing 2025 Hardtops
- Match body style and trim: Cooper and Cooper S have different outputs, and 2 Door and 4 Door prices differ.
- Compare the specific car’s options and included packages with its build sheet; equipment shown in photos may be optional.
- For a used vehicle, assess mileage, condition, title and accident history, local asking prices, dealer fees, and remaining warranty. No single current used-market price applies without those details.
- Use current inventory or a current official offer page for today’s availability and terms. MINI’s offers page is dynamic and may show later model years; historical 2025 promotions should not be treated as current.
