It can be worth considering if you will use the Ultra Luxury grade’s added comfort and convenience equipment, especially its Mark Levinson audio system, head-up display and Panoramic View Monitor. If those extras do not matter to you, compare the less expensive ES 300h Luxury before paying more. The $53,725 figure is a starting price shown on a Lexus dealer page—not a confirmed current transaction price or an out-the-door total. Your answer depends on the actual local quotes and equipment on the specific car.
What does the $53,725 price actually tell you?
Metro Lexus lists a $53,725 starting price for the 2025 ES 300h Ultra Luxury. That dealer-page figure is useful as a reference, but it does not establish what a buyer will pay today, the final price of a car with options, or the total after taxes and fees. For a meaningful comparison, request written quotes for the Luxury and Ultra Luxury in the same area. Compare the vehicles’ window stickers and the quoted totals, accounting for options, dealer add-ons, destination, taxes, fees and incentives. A trim’s listed starting figure alone cannot show the actual premium on the cars available to you.
What does Ultra Luxury add over Luxury?
Lexus Canada’s 2025 grade overview describes the Ultra Luxury as building on the Luxury grade with the following additions. Because this equipment list comes from the Canadian-market release, confirm the US-market specification on the particular vehicle’s window sticker or official build details before treating an item as standard on a US car.

The grade details are in Lexus Canada’s 2025 ES overview. Treat them as a comparison checklist, not a substitute for checking a US car’s own equipment label.
What do you get from the ES 300h hybrid?
Lexus says the 2025 ES 300h pairs a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor and hybrid transaxle, producing 215 total system horsepower. Lexus gives EPA-estimated fuel economy of 43 mpg city, 44 highway and 44 combined. Its 2025 brochure also highlights 44 mpg combined. These are official estimates, not a promise of the mileage a particular driver will achieve.

Fuel economy by itself cannot show whether the Ultra Luxury premium will pay back. Estimate your fuel costs using your annual mileage, city/highway driving mix, local fuel prices and the actual alternative you are considering. Without those inputs, a savings figure or payback period would be guesswork.

How to decide whether the upgrade suits you
- Start with the Luxury grade: Identify which features it already has, then mark the Ultra Luxury additions you would genuinely use.
- Compare actual quotes: Ask for comparable written prices for similarly equipped cars, including fees and incentives rather than relying on the $53,725 starting figure.
- Test the exact car: Pay attention to ride, cabin noise, seat comfort, visibility and the usability of the display and cameras. Those judgments depend on your preferences; they are not established by the specification list.
- Check the market specification: Use the US window sticker or official US build details to confirm equipment on a specific vehicle, especially because the detailed grade list cited above is Canadian.
- Use your own driving pattern: Assess the hybrid’s estimated efficiency against your likely annual miles and fuel costs, not an assumed fuel-savings payback.
For warranty coverage, consult the booklet for the actual US vehicle and its in-service date rather than applying Canadian-market terms to a US purchase.

They can be useful if you want extra protection for the cabin, but confirm fitment for the exact ES 300h model year and grade before buying. Lexus’s accessory guidance says its floor liner or mat is designed for a specific model and model year, and should not be used in another vehicle. Check that the liner fits the car’s floor anchors and is secured as directed; do not stack mats. A Lexus dealer parts listing identifies a 2025 all-weather floor-mat product, but confirm its fitment for your vehicle before ordering: Lexus of Thousand Oaks parts listing. The WeatherTech 2025 Lexus ES selector does not by itself establish fitment for the exact ES 300h grade, so verify that detail with the seller.
