The 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 is a 1,084cc cruiser offered with a six-speed manual or Honda’s six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), with touring-oriented 1100T versions and a new DCT SE. For the U.S. lineup, launch MSRPs ran from $9,599 to $11,499. The 2025 updates add a five-inch TFT display, Honda RoadSync connectivity and USB-C charging across the range; independent road-test evidence is limited to reviews of specific versions and earlier model years.
How much does a 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 cost?
Honda’s October 2024 U.S. model-year announcement listed the following base MSRPs. They are launch prices, not current dealer quotes or out-the-door totals; confirm present pricing and availability with a Honda dealer.
| Model | Launch U.S. MSRP | What distinguishes it |
|---|---|---|
| Rebel 1100 | $9,599 | Six-speed manual |
| Rebel 1100 DCT | $10,299 | Six-speed dual-clutch transmission |
| Rebel 1100 DCT SE | $11,099 | DCT plus SE styling details |
| Rebel 1100T | $10,799 | Touring-oriented equipment, manual transmission |
| Rebel 1100T DCT | $11,499 | Touring-oriented equipment and DCT |
Honda’s official manual and DCT product pages list a $775 destination charge. Using that charge, the listed subtotal is $10,374 for the base manual and $11,074 for the base DCT, before dealer charges, tax, title or registration. Destination-charge amounts for the other trims are not stated here.
What changed on the 2025 Rebel 1100?
Honda says every 2025 trim gains a five-inch TFT instrument display, RoadSync connectivity and USB-C charging. Honda describes RoadSync as providing access to navigation, music, phone and related functions through its app. Actual functions can depend on the phone, app and region, so check compatibility for your setup rather than assuming every feature works with every handset.

What is different about the DCT SE?
The DCT SE is a new styling-focused version for 2025. Honda lists fork boots, bar-end mirrors, a color-matched headlight cowl, a short front fender and a special seat cover. These appearance details distinguish it from the standard DCT; Rider’s review specifically covers the DCT SE and should not be treated as a test of every trim.

Manual or DCT: which transmission makes sense?
The manual is the choice for riders who want a conventional clutch and gear lever. The DCT dispenses with the hand-operated clutch and supports automatic or manual operation using paddle shifters, according to Honda. Its higher listed curb weight and launch price are concrete trade-offs; preference for clutch involvement, traffic conditions and budget are personal considerations.
Both versions retain the same listed seat height, fuel capacity and principal chassis dimensions. The DCT is not a conventional belt-driven scooter transmission: Honda specifies a six-speed dual-clutch unit.

How does the Rebel 1100 perform on the road?
The available independent impressions need to be read by model year and trim. Cycle World’s buyer’s guide discusses an earlier Rebel 1100, describing its handling as neutral and confidence-inspiring and recounting favorable comparison-test impressions against the Harley-Davidson Nightster and Indian Scout Rogue. Those comments are context for the earlier model, not a direct instrumented verdict on every 2025 version.
Cycle World measured 37.6 mpg in a test of an earlier Rebel 1100. This is not a Honda-published 2025 fuel-economy rating or a prediction of an owner’s mileage. Honda’s U.S. 2025 pages cited here do not publish an EPA-style economy figure. The 3.6-gallon tank makes fuel stops worth considering, but combining its capacity with that older test result would not establish a guaranteed 2025 range.

Highway comfort and rider fit
Cycle World’s earlier-model guide flags a compact rider triangle for taller riders and treats highway comfort as a trade-off. Honda’s revised seat foam and grip angle for 2025 may matter to comfort, but do not establish that the fit suits every rider or resolves the earlier concerns. Rider fit is individual: taller buyers and anyone planning longer trips should sit on the bike, and test-ride if possible.
Rider Magazine’s review is of the 2025 DCT SE specifically. It places the Rebel in a metric-cruiser niche and notes 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels with Dunlop D428 tires. That review’s scope should not be stretched to claim identical impressions for the manual, standard DCT or T models.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the Rebel 1100 good for beginners?
A 27.5-inch seat and a 487-pound manual-model curb weight can make the Rebel approachable to riders who value a low seat and relatively modest weight for this class. They do not make a 1,084cc motorcycle automatically suitable for a novice. A new rider should consider experience, control at low speeds, ability to manage the bike’s weight and local licensing or training requirements, and should assess the motorcycle in person before deciding.
Which Rebel 1100 trim should you choose?
- Rebel 1100: Consider it if you want the manual transmission and the lowest launch MSRP in the range.
- Rebel 1100 DCT: Choose this direction if clutch-free operation matters more than the manual’s lower price and weight.
- Rebel 1100 DCT SE: It adds distinctive styling details to the DCT configuration; decide whether those are worth the higher launch price.
- Rebel 1100T or 1100T DCT: Compare the touring-oriented versions if their equipment better matches your travel needs. The launch announcement identifies them as touring variants, but the listed evidence does not itemize every equipment difference.
Honda identifies passenger seat and footpeg equipment as optional bolt-on accessories. If carrying a passenger is part of the plan, check the current accessory configuration and fitment with Honda or a dealer rather than assuming the standard bike includes that equipment.
