The highest ratings belong to the EX and Touring with front-wheel drive; the Elite AWD has the lowest. Independent test results available here are for 2024 Prologues, so they offer context—not a measured result or guarantee for the 2025 model.
2025 Honda Prologue range and efficiency by trim
These are American Honda’s U.S. specifications, based on 2025 EPA ratings. EPA figures are useful for comparing configurations, but they do not promise the same distance on every trip.

For the longest official range, the EX or Touring FWD leads this lineup. Choosing AWD corresponds to a lower rating, and the Elite AWD is rated lowest. Honda lists 19-inch wheels on EX and Touring and 21-inch wheels on Elite, but its specifications do not quantify how much wheel size contributes to the range difference.
What real-world range tests show—and what they do not
Edmunds reports a 320-mile result from its EV Range Test of a 2024 Prologue Elite on its 2025 model-year review page. Consumer Reports reports 277 miles in a 70 mph highway-range test of a 2024 Prologue on its 2025 road-test page. Those are results from different tests and a different model year than the vehicle covered here; they should not be averaged or treated as a prediction for a 2025 Prologue.

The available sources do not establish a directly measured 2025 range result. For a 2025, use the EPA rating as a comparison point, then allow for the conditions of your own route and the charge you want left when you arrive.
Why your usable range can differ from the EPA figure
Honda cautions that actual range varies with temperature, terrain, battery age and condition, loading, use, and maintenance. Speed, heating or air-conditioning use, elevation changes, wind, and tires can also affect energy use on a particular drive. The sources do not support a single Prologue-specific percentage reduction for those conditions.

For trip planning, consider the route, likely weather, charging opportunities, and desired arrival reserve rather than treating the full rated range as distance you can count on. A rating is not a promise that a vehicle will cover that distance under every combination of conditions.
Battery, power, and charging specifications
Honda lists an 85 kWh battery capacity. The FWD Prologue is rated at 220 horsepower, while AWD versions are rated at 300 horsepower.

Charging speed and miles added are not fixed outcomes: conditions affect the actual result. If you plan to rely on Honda’s stated Level 2 rate at home, confirm charger compatibility and electrical capacity with a qualified installer before purchase or installation.
