2025 Civic Sedan trims and powertrains
Honda’s U.S. model-year lineup has two gasoline trims and two hybrid trims. All four are sedans; these specifications do not cover the Civic Hatchback, Civic Si or Canadian-market model.

Fuel-economy figures are U.S. EPA estimates reported by American Honda Motor Co., Inc. for the 2025 Civic Sedan, in city/highway/combined order; they are not a promise of real-world mileage. Honda lists regular unleaded fuel for all four trims. Honda’s 2025 EPA ratings table provides the official figures.
2025 U.S. pricing: what is and is not established
The U.S. Honda model-year pages document the trims and equipment but do not state a 2025 U.S. MSRP or destination charge. Honda’s consumer Civic page now presents the 2026 model, so its prices are not 2025 prices. Canadian specifications likewise do not establish U.S. pricing. No verified 2025 U.S. price ladder or current local transaction-price sample is available here; a precise trim-by-trim price comparison would therefore be misleading.

For a specific 2025 Civic listing, compare the asking price with other vehicles in the same U.S. market and account for trim, mileage, condition, title history, dealer fees and add-ons. A used or leftover-car asking price is not the original MSRP. Honda’s current Civic Sedan page is for the later model year, not a source for 2025 pricing.
How the four trims differ
LX: the entry gasoline trim
The LX pairs the 2.0-liter engine with a CVT and has 16-inch steel wheels. It has a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and Honda Sensing driver-assistance features. Its EPA estimate is 36 mpg combined.

Sport: gasoline power with added equipment
Sport retains the 150-hp engine and CVT, and moves to 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels. It adds paddle shifters, remote engine start, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, and Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitor. The touchscreen remains 7 inches; Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are compatible. Its EPA estimate is 34 mpg combined.
Sport Hybrid: hybrid power in a Sport-oriented trim
Sport Hybrid uses Honda’s two-motor hybrid system, rated at 200 hp total system output, and has an EPA estimate of 49 mpg combined. Its equipment includes a 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Honda lists ECON, Normal and Sport drive modes for Sport Hybrid.

Sport Touring Hybrid: the more technology-focused hybrid
Sport Touring Hybrid shares the hybrid powertrain and 49-mpg combined EPA estimate, while adding the lineup’s most extensive connectivity and audio equipment: a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in, Alexa Built-in, wireless phone charging and a 12-speaker Bose system. Honda also identifies Low-Speed Braking Control for this trim and lists Individual as an additional drive mode.

Fuel economy: gasoline versus hybrid
Among these trims, the largest EPA-rated combined-economy difference is between Sport at 34 mpg and either hybrid at 49 mpg. Those are official estimates, not measured results for a particular driver or route. Whether a hybrid’s fuel savings offset its purchase-price difference depends on the actual prices, annual mileage, fuel costs and driving pattern; without a verified 2025 U.S. price difference, a payback period cannot be calculated responsibly.

Honda lists seating for five and up to 14.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity for the Civic Sedan. The Sport and Sport Hybrid have ECON, Normal and Sport drive modes; Sport Touring Hybrid adds Individual mode. Honda’s model-year materials also state that Honda Service Pass applies for the first year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of sale, and covers specified first factory-scheduled maintenance items. Confirm applicable terms for the individual vehicle.

Honda’s 2025 Civic Sedan model guide links to exterior and interior walkaround videos and a color guide. The listed exterior colors are Blue Lagoon Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteorite Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Rallye Red, Solar Silver Metallic and Urban Gray Pearl. Availability varies by trim and interior, so check the exact vehicle’s build or listing rather than assuming every color is offered on every trim. Safety-rating qualification
Honda’s 2025 Feature Highlights say that “All 2025 Civic Sedan trims are expected to earn top ratings in crash tests.” That wording expresses Honda’s expectation, not a completed rating. The cited Honda material does not establish an independently verified crash-test result.
