Those pages do not establish his own driving impressions, so this article separates what Chevrolet has published about the 2025 Tahoe from what still needs an independent, first-hand source.
What can and cannot be attributed to William Clavey
No walkaround video or written review by William Clavey of the 2025 Tahoe was located in the material checked. The variant pages that carry his name are labeled by trim and engine, for example “Chevrolet Tahoe RST V8 5.3 2025” and “Chevrolet Tahoe LT 3.0T 2025,” but the labels alone do not show which trim he drove, which options were fitted, or what he concluded about ride, noise or interior quality. Until his original piece is located, no opinion, test drive or direct observation should be credited to him.
Everything below is therefore either a Chevrolet published claim or a published specification, and is labeled that way.
What Chevrolet says changed for 2025
Chevrolet’s U.S. newsroom announced a 2025 Tahoe with refreshed exterior and interior designs, a 17.7-inch diagonal central touchscreen, and a second-generation 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel option. The release also describes ride and handling refinements. It was first published November 29, 2023, and its editor’s note says it was updated with final content in August 2024. These are manufacturer statements about the U.S. model, not results from independent testing.

U.S. engine specifications
The engine figures below come from Chevrolet’s newsroom release, which lists them as preliminary specifications. They are U.S.-market claims for the 2025 model year.

Chevrolet’s product page describes the same three engine families. Not every engine is offered on every trim, so the engine should be confirmed against the trim you are considering in Chevrolet’s configurator for your model year.

Choosing a configuration
Before comparing trims, settle four questions in this order:
- Powertrain: The 5.3L V8, 6.2L V8 and 3.0L turbo-diesel differ in output and character. The torque figures show the diesel’s low-rpm strength, while the V8s peak higher in the rev range.
- Trim-level equipment: Feature availability varies by trim. Treat every item in the next section as available, not standard, until the trim sheet confirms it.
- Passenger and cargo needs: The Tahoe is a three-row SUV, and the cargo figure below is Chevrolet’s maximum.
- Intended use: If towing or off-road equipment matters, the engine and feature choices should be checked against the specific trailering and driver-assist content for that trim, not against the headline output alone.
Cabin, technology and driver assistance
Chevrolet’s newsroom describes a 17.7-inch diagonal central touchscreen and an 11-inch configurable driver information display. It calls the screen best-in-segment; that is Chevrolet’s comparative marketing claim and has not been independently verified.

Cargo and space
Chevrolet’s U.S. product page states a maximum cargo volume of 122.7 cubic feet for the Tahoe. This is Chevrolet’s published figure and was not measured independently. Measure the space in the specific configuration you plan to buy if the load matters to you, because third-row and second-row arrangements change usable volume.

Manufacturer promotion versus independent evaluation
Chevrolet vice president Scott Bell said: “The updates on the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban make the industry’s best-selling full-size SUVs an ever-stronger option for our customers.” The statement appears in Chevrolet’s November 29, 2023 newsroom release, updated with final content in August 2024. It is promotional language and should be read as such, alongside the best-in-segment screen claim above.
What is not established
The sources checked do not provide independent figures for ride quality, fuel economy, real-world towing capacity, pricing, reliability or sales performance for the 2025 Tahoe. Nothing in this article should be read as filling those gaps. For each of them, use an independent road test, a current Chevrolet configurator, or an official owner-facing document for the trim and model year you are evaluating.

For a 2025 Tahoe shopper, the verifiable core is the engine line-up, the screen and driver-assist content, and the cargo figure, all as Chevrolet publishes them. Confirm trim-level availability in Chevrolet’s configurator, and treat any driving verdict as unconfirmed until an independent, first-hand review with a named trim and options is located.
