Verdict: The 2025 Cadillac CT5 350T is great at being a comfortable, spacious, well-equipped luxury sedan. It is not great at being a performance bargain. Its 237-hp turbo-four has enough output for normal driving, while the available 335-hp twin-turbo V6 is the answer for buyers who prioritize acceleration.
The 350T badge represents 350 Nm of torque—not 350 horsepower. Understand that distinction and the car’s appeal becomes clear: this is the CT5 for relaxed commuting, highway composure, modern cabin technology, and available Super Cruise.

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 350T is a good choice if you want a comfortable, roomy gasoline luxury sedan with striking styling, modern infotainment, and available Super Cruise more than you want rapid acceleration. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is perfectly usable for commuting and cruising, but it does not make the CT5 feel like a serious sports sedan.
The important detail is the badge. 350T does not mean 350 horsepower. It refers to the engine’s 350 newton-meters of torque, or 258 lb-ft. Cadillac rates the engine at 237 horsepower. If effortless passing, fast merging, or a genuinely sporty response matters to you, the available 335-hp twin-turbo V6 is the better CT5. If those priorities are secondary, the 350T delivers the more relaxed and financially sensible version of the car’s comfort-and-technology formula.

This assessment uses Cadillac’s published specifications and independent testing of the same or closely related powertrains. It is not a firsthand road test of a 2025 CT5.
What is new on the 2025 Cadillac CT5?
The 2025 CT5 is a significant refresh, not an all-new generation. Cadillac updated the front styling and gave the sedan its most visible technology change: a curved 33-inch-diagonal LED display that spans the driver’s viewing area and center of the dashboard. Cadillac claims 9K resolution for the display.
Google built-in is integrated into the infotainment system. It includes Google Assistant for voice commands, Google Maps for navigation, and Google Play for compatible applications. That gives the CT5 a more current interface than the outgoing system, although the usefulness of the app ecosystem will depend on your phone, account, connectivity, and preferred services.
Cadillac also added or expanded driver-assistance equipment for 2025. Depending on trim and package, the CT5 can be equipped with features such as Blind Zone Steering Assist and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking. Driver Attention Assist is associated with the available Super Cruise system.

The CT5 350T uses a 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged inline-four with direct injection, Active Fuel Management, and automatic stop/start. Cadillac’s published rating is:

The 350T name is therefore a metric torque designation. It should not be read as a claim of 350 horsepower, and it is not a shortcut for the V6-powered CT5.
Cadillac’s quoted output figures are associated with premium gasoline. Fuel costs should be part of the comparison if you are deciding between a lower-output four-cylinder and a more powerful V6.

How quick is the 350T?
The four-cylinder CT5 is adequate rather than exciting. Car and Driver recorded a 0–60-mph time of 6.6 seconds in a CT5 with the same 237-hp turbo-four output. That is respectable for ordinary driving, but it is not a standout result among modern sport-oriented luxury sedans.
That 6.6-second result came from independent testing of an earlier, 2020 launch-year CT5 rather than a new instrumented test of the 2025 model. It is useful evidence of the carried-over powertrain’s performance, but it should not be presented as a 2025 test result or as proof that every 2025 car has exactly the same acceleration.

For context, Edmunds recorded 0–60 mph in 5.5 seconds in a V6-equipped CT5. The V6 produces 335 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, a substantial increase over the 350T’s 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. The difference is most noticeable when merging onto a fast highway, passing with passengers aboard, climbing grades, or carrying a full load.

The conclusion is straightforward: the 350T will not leave you stranded or make normal traffic difficult, but it does not fully match the CT5’s long hood, rear-wheel-drive proportions, or sport-sedan image. It is the engine for buyers who accept adequate acceleration in exchange for the rest of the CT5 package.

The CT5’s driving character is more composed than aggressive. Its 10-speed automatic, rear-drive-based chassis, and substantial body give it the ingredients for a comfortable long-distance sedan. The four-cylinder’s broad torque band, which peaks from 1,500 to 4,000 rpm, is well suited to steady commuting and highway travel.
Cadillac’s Driver Mode Selector provides Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and customizable MyMode settings. Cadillac says these modes can alter steering response, engine sound, and brake feel. Sport mode can make the car feel more alert, but it cannot turn the 350T into the V6-powered version. The fundamental limitation is output and powertrain response, not a lack of selectable settings.
Car and Driver criticized the earlier four-cylinder CT5 for acceleration that was slow relative to key sport-sedan rivals, as well as for the engine’s sound and response. Those comments apply directly to the same basic 2.0-liter powertrain, but the review was for the 2020 launch model. The 2025 refresh brings major technology and styling changes; the available research does not establish a new independent test showing that the engine’s calibration has changed materially.
Edmunds describes the current CT5’s V6 as smooth and strong, with stable handling and accurate steering, while also noting that the CT5 is not a dedicated sport sedan. That is a useful way to position the four-cylinder car: the 350T is a smooth daily driver with a confident highway manner, not a bargain performance model.
Cabin comfort and the 33-inch display
The 2025 CT5’s strongest argument is its technology upgrade. The curved 33-inch display gives the dashboard a distinctive, screen-heavy appearance and places the driver information and infotainment functions in one wide visual area. Google built-in adds integrated mapping, voice assistance, and access to compatible applications without relying entirely on a phone projection interface.
Cadillac also lists an AKG Studio Audio System, heated and massaging front seats, an available ventilated-seat configuration, and a heated steering wheel among the CT5’s equipment. Exact availability depends on trim and package, so a buyer should compare the window sticker of the specific car rather than assume that every 350T has every comfort feature.
The sedan’s traditional three-box shape provides the kind of cabin and trunk arrangement that appeals to buyers who do not want a crossover. It is a practical format for adults, luggage, and regular commuting, although anyone shopping for maximum cargo flexibility should still compare the CT5 with a liftback or SUV before deciding.
The interior is not universally praised as class-leading. Car and Driver pointed to a mixture of upscale materials and cheaper-looking plastics. Edmunds similarly describes the CT5 as technologically slick without being as uniformly premium as some German competitors. Those are comparative, subjective judgments rather than measurable defects, but they identify a real trade-off: the CT5’s display and feature list can feel more impressive than the consistency of its material quality.

Super Cruise is a major advantage, with important limits
Available Super Cruise gives the regular CT5 a feature that remains unusual among traditional gasoline sedans. Cadillac describes it as hands-free driver assistance on compatible roads, and the system can include automatic lane changes. Cadillac’s current Super Cruise information lists the 2023–2026 CT5 among supported vehicle lines.
Super Cruise is not autonomous driving. The driver must remain responsible for the vehicle, monitor the road and system status, and be ready to steer or brake. Hands-free operation is limited to roads and situations supported by the system, and the technology does not remove the need for attention. Driver Attention Assist is intended to help monitor that responsibility; it is associated with the Super Cruise-equipped configuration.
If you regularly travel on compatible highways, Super Cruise may matter more to your ownership experience than a small difference in acceleration. If you rarely use supported roads or prefer to drive without assistance systems, it should not be a deciding reason to pay for a higher trim or package.
Fuel economy, drivetrain choice, and touring range
Published 2025 figures vary by source and configuration, so identify the drivetrain before quoting an economy number. Cars.com reports 23 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined for a rear-wheel-drive four-cylinder CT5. The same source reports 22/30/25 mpg for an all-wheel-drive version. Edmunds lists 23 mpg city and 32 mpg highway for the applicable configuration.

The CT5 has a 17.4-gallon fuel tank in both rear- and all-wheel-drive versions. That supports reasonable touring range on paper, but actual range depends on highway speed, traffic, temperature, tire pressure, terrain, fuel blend, and how often you use the engine’s boost.
Rear-wheel drive is the efficiency-oriented choice and preserves the CT5’s traditional layout. All-wheel drive can be worthwhile for buyers who regularly encounter snow, ice, steep roads, or wet conditions, but it carries a small published fuel-economy penalty and does not make the 350T a performance car.
Safety and driver assistance: check the exact equipment
Cadillac lists a broad safety and driver-assistance suite for the 2025 CT5, but availability varies by trim and package. Depending on the vehicle, equipment can include:

NHTSA selected the 2025 CT5 with the V6 for its 5-Star Safety Ratings testing program. Selection or planned testing is not the same as a completed rating. Unless the current NHTSA database confirms a result for the exact vehicle and drivetrain, do not advertise the 2025 CT5 as having a completed five-star overall rating.
Recall status is also vehicle-specific and can change after publication. Before buying a new or used CT5, check the VIN or license plate through NHTSA’s recall lookup and ask the seller whether outstanding campaigns have been completed.

Pricing and value
Cadillac’s U.S. 2025 CT5 page displays a starting price of $47,595, while the Sport model is shown from $48,595. Treat those figures as time-sensitive starting points rather than guaranteed transaction prices. Destination charges, options, dealer pricing, incentives, inventory, and regional availability can change the amount you actually pay.
The 350T makes the most sense when you value the CT5’s size, styling, rear-drive architecture, seats, curved display, and available driver assistance more than you value acceleration. Its lower-output engine may also reduce the purchase and fuel-cost burden compared with the V6, but that is an inference from the power and specification gap, not the result of an unpublished long-term ownership test.
Cadillac’s warranty and maintenance details should be verified in the window sticker and current warranty documentation for the specific market and sale date. Do not rely on a generic online summary if coverage is an important part of your buying decision.

A sedan’s floor and trunk are easy to overlook during a performance-and-features comparison. Wet shoes, winter grit, pets, groceries, and muddy equipment can do more damage to a new luxury interior than the occasional hard acceleration.
