The 2025 fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT Speed pairs a 4.0-litre V8 with an electric motor for Bentley-quoted output of 782 PS (771 bhp) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). Bentley also claims up to 50 miles (81 km) of WLTP electric range, but the official material cited here does not establish a market-specific 2025 starting price. These figures describe the Speed plug-in hybrid, not necessarily every Continental GT trim.
What makes the 2025 Continental GT Speed a plug-in hybrid?
Bentley announced the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed on 25 June 2024. Its plug-in hybrid powertrain combines a 4.0-litre V8 rated at 600 PS with a 190 PS electric motor. Bentley gives combined system output as 782 PS (771 bhp) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft); the engine and motor ratings should not be added as if they were simultaneous system output.
The official announcement calls the car the new Continental GT Speed. The specifications below are for that version, and should not be read as specifications for every 2025 Continental GT configuration. Bentley’s launch announcement provides the powertrain and performance claims.
How quick is it, according to Bentley?
Bentley quotes 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h). These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results.

Compared with the preceding W12 Speed
Bentley’s model information lists the previous-generation W12 Speed at 659 PS, 900 Nm, 0–60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a 208 mph top speed. On Bentley’s figures, the new Speed has 123 PS and 100 Nm more, and a 0.4-second quicker claimed 0–60 mph time; the stated top speed is unchanged.

How far can it travel on electric power?
Bentley quotes up to 50 miles (81 km) of electric-only range under the WLTP test cycle. “Up to” matters: WLTP is a standardized test figure, not a promise of the distance a particular driver will get on every journey. Conditions and use can affect real-world range.
Bentley’s 25 June 2024 launch announcement also reports 29 g/km of CO₂ alongside the range claim. A separate Bentley announcement at Goodwood in July 2024 said EU27 emissions and fuel-consumption data were pending EU type approval at that time. The launch figure therefore should not be treated as a current, independently verified result across markets. Bentley’s Goodwood announcement supplies that contemporaneous approval caveat.

What are the battery capacity and charging claims?
Bentley technical information gives the hybrid battery a capacity of 25.9 kWh, peak charging power of 11 kW, and a recharge time of as little as 2¾ hours. The time is a best-case manufacturer claim, not a universal estimate for every outlet or charger. The cited materials do not establish one universally compatible home charger, a connector specification, that a charger is included, or a home-installation recommendation. Check the specification and charging guidance for the car and market being considered. Bentley’s Andermatt technical material gives the battery and charging figures.
What chassis hardware and design changes stand out?
Chassis
Bentley says the battery’s placement helps the car achieve a 49:51 weight distribution. Its listed hardware includes two-chamber air springs, dual-valve dampers, Bentley Dynamic Ride 48-volt active anti-roll control, an electronic limited-slip differential and torque vectoring. Those are specifications and manufacturer descriptions; they do not by themselves establish how the car rides or handles in independent testing.

Exterior and cabin
The redesigned exterior is marked by single headlamps, which Bentley identifies as a major change. Listed cabin features include wellness seat technology, air ionisation, three-dimensional leather textures, new quilting and dark chrome finishes. Equipment can depend on the chosen specification, so confirm whether a feature is standard or available for the exact market and build. Bentley’s Goodwood release describes the chassis and design details, while the launch announcement lists exterior and cabin features.

The official Bentley sources cited here do not establish an exact 2025 starting price for a defined country and trim. A reliable figure needs a dated, market-specific Bentley price list or configurator result, with taxes and options clearly identified. Without that, a single MSRP would risk implying a price that is not established for the reader’s market.

What Bentley’s sustainability event claims do—and don’t—show
For a media drive described in an October 2024 release, Bentley said the cars used sustainable eFuel and their 25.9 kWh hybrid batteries were charged with renewable electricity from local hydroelectric and wind sources. That describes the event’s fuel and electricity arrangements; it does not establish the energy sources used by owners in ordinary use or mean the car is emissions-free. Bentley’s event release sets out those details.
