The 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 keeps the same basic platform but updates the cockpit and rider interface: it adds a five-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync functions, moves the USB-C terminal beside the instruments, and gets Honda-described seat and grip-angle revisions. Honda also lists more front fork travel than for 2024. The DCT SE is a distinct, automatic-transmission trim with its own styling and equipment—not simply another name for the standard 2025 model.
What changed from 2024 to 2025?
For U.S.-market models, the clearest changes Honda identifies for 2025 are in the cockpit, controls and ergonomics. Its 2025 product page says the Rebel gets a five-inch TFT display, RoadSync-connected functions, a USB-C terminal repositioned by the instruments, added seat foam and a refined grip angle. Honda’s specifications also list 5.5 inches of front fork travel for the 2025 standard/manual model, compared with 4.8 inches in its 2024 specifications.
- Display and connectivity: The 2025 TFT can show riding information in selectable formats and supports RoadSync app functions for music, phone and navigation. The exact functions available can depend on the compatible phone and app support.
- USB-C location: Honda says it moved the terminal up by the instruments.
- Ergonomics: Honda says it added seat foam and fine-tuned the grip angle. Those are manufacturer-described changes, not independently measured comfort improvements.
- Front suspension specification: Honda lists 5.5 inches of travel for 2025 and 4.8 inches for 2024. The figures establish a specification difference, not a claim about how the bikes perform on the road.
Honda’s published engine displacement changes from 1083cc in the 2024 specifications to 1084cc in the 2025 specifications. Those figures alone do not establish a major engine redesign.
2024 and 2025 specifications compared
The table compares the 2024 manual specification with the 2025 standard/manual model. It does not treat the DCT or touring variants as equivalent trims.

These are Honda-published specifications, not independent measurements. The 2025 curb weight is for the standard/manual model; it should not be applied to DCT trims. Honda notes that California emissions equipment can differ.
What does the 2025 DCT SE add?
The DCT SE combines Honda’s automatic six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission with trim-specific equipment. Honda lists its curb weight at 509 pounds and describes these distinguishing features:

These features belong to the DCT SE specification; they are not universal changes to every 2025 Rebel 1100. Its 509-pound curb-weight figure is 22 pounds higher than Honda’s 487-pound listing for the 2025 standard/manual model, but the comparison is between different trims and transmissions.
Does the 2025 Rebel 1100 have a TFT display?
Yes. Honda lists a five-inch TFT for the 2025 model. It presents riding information in selectable formats and works with Honda RoadSync app integration for music, phone and navigation functions. Check Honda’s current RoadSync and device-compatibility information for your phone before assuming that every function is supported or works identically across operating systems.

Is a 2025 Rebel 1100 worth choosing over a 2024?
The 2025 is the more compelling choice if you specifically want the TFT and RoadSync functions, the revised USB-C placement, or Honda’s stated seat and grip updates. The listed increase in front fork travel and the slightly lower seat height may also matter when comparing specifications, but those numbers do not by themselves establish a real-world handling or comfort advantage.
A 2024 may suit a buyer who does not need the new display and prefers to decide based on the condition, equipment and price of the particular motorcycle. The available official material does not provide a complete 2024 price matrix, so it does not support a reliable year-over-year MSRP comparison. Compare like with like—manual with manual, or DCT with DCT—and confirm the exact trim before weighing prices or equipment.
