U.S. pricing runs from $28,320 to $40,100 before the listed $1,365 destination and handling charge, options and any dealer market adjustment.
What changed for 2024?
Nissan updated the Rogue’s exterior with new front and rear fascias, a revised V-motion grille, new inner taillights and satin-finish badges. Platinum models receive updated detailing. The changes are evolutionary: the 2024 Rogue remains the same generation rather than an all-new vehicle.

The more consequential update is inside. SL and Platinum trims add a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in. Nissan says the 2024 Rogue is its first vehicle available with Google built-in (Nissan News, January 10, 2024). On equipped trims, Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play are integrated into the vehicle and do not require phone pairing. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain standard: wired on S and SV, wireless on SL and Platinum.
Nissan also extended the NissanConnect Services trial to three years. Exact service features and post-trial terms can vary, so confirm them with Nissan before purchase.

Which trim is the sensible buy?
There is no single best trim because the major decision is whether you value the lower purchase price or the upgraded infotainment and available equipment on SL and Platinum. S and SV keep the entry cost down and use wired smartphone integration. SL is the step into the 12.3-inch Google-built-in system, while Platinum combines that technology with the highest listed price and equipment level.

Adding AWD costs $1,500 on every trim in Nissan’s published pricing. Compare that surcharge with your climate, terrain and tire needs rather than assuming AWD is automatically necessary.
Powertrain, performance and fuel economy
Every 2024 Rogue uses a 1.5-liter variable-compression-ratio (VC-Turbo) three-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Nissan advertises up to 201 horsepower, up to 225 lb-ft of torque and up to 34 highway mpg. These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results; actual output and economy can vary with drivetrain, equipment, weather, traffic, driving style and testing method.
The VC-Turbo’s variable-compression design is intended to balance power and efficiency, while the CVT prioritizes smooth, continuous ratio changes rather than conventional stepped shifts. Buyers seeking a sporty driving experience should arrange a test drive, because the figures alone do not describe throttle response, passing feel or transmission behavior.

Technology and cabin usability
Google built-in and phone connection
SL and Platinum are the trims to target for Google built-in. Google Assistant handles voice requests, Google Maps supplies navigation and Google Play provides compatible apps directly through the vehicle interface. This setup can reduce dependence on a paired phone for those functions.

Nissan lists an available HD Enhanced Intelligent Around View Monitor.
