The 2024 Nissan GT-R is the final model-year R35 offered in North America: Nissan said production would sunset in October 2024, and its current U.S. model page marks the GT-R “No Longer In Production.” Its historical U.S. MSRP ran from $121,090 for Premium to $221,090 for NISMO. The car pairs a twin-turbo V6 with all-wheel drive and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, but its four seats, 8.8-cubic-foot trunk, and 18-mpg combined EPA estimate put clear limits on everyday practicality. The specifications and prices below are manufacturer-published 2024 U.S. figures, not current used-car values.
What changed for the 2024 GT-R?
Nissan presented 2024 as the R35 GT-R’s send-off in North America. Its June 2024 announcement said production would sunset in October, while Nissan USA’s current model page labels the car “No Longer In Production.” Those statements apply to North America; they do not establish the production status of every market worldwide. Nissan’s 2024 announcement and its current U.S. GT-R page provide the market-specific context.
For the final U.S. model year, Nissan described redesigned front and rear fascias and a revised rear spoiler. The company says the spoiler was intended to increase downforce without adding drag. That is Nissan’s design description, not an independently measured aerodynamic result. The official page also includes exterior and interior gallery images for the 2024 Premium, T-spec, Skyline Edition, T-spec Takumi Edition, and NISMO; use each image with its correct model and trim caption.
How much did the 2024 Nissan GT-R cost?
Nissan Newsroom’s June 14, 2024 announcement listed these U.S. manufacturer suggested retail prices. They are historical launch-era MSRPs, not current asking prices or estimates of used-market value.

Nissan said the Skyline and Takumi special editions would have fewer than 200 units available; that figure refers to those limited editions, not total GT-R production. The announcement also specified that MSRP excluded applicable tax, title, license fees, and destination charges, and that the dealer set the actual price. Consult the 2024 Nissan GT-R pricing announcement for the original terms. No live used listings or condition-specific prices are established here. For a used GT-R, compare the individual car’s model year, mileage, condition, service records, and local availability rather than treating its original MSRP as a present-day valuation.
What are the 2024 GT-R’s engine and performance specifications?
Every listed 2024 grade uses a 3.8-liter DOHC, 24-valve twin-turbo V6, ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive, and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. Nissan rated the regular engine tune at 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque; the NISMO tune was rated at 600 hp and 481 lb-ft.

These are Nissan’s published 2024 U.S. specifications, not independent test results. The brochure describes the NISMO’s distinct tuning and equipment, but the figures alone do not establish real-world acceleration or lap-time differences. Nissan describes ATTESA E-TS as varying torque distribution and lists three selectable driving modes on its official GT-R page.
How large and practical is the GT-R?
The GT-R has seating for four, though the rear seats and limited trunk make it less useful for passengers or cargo than the seat count might suggest. Nissan’s 2024 brochure lists 8.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity.

Which 2024 GT-R trim makes the most sense?
Premium: the baseline GT-R
Premium has the standard 565-hp, 467-lb-ft engine tune and the same core AWD and dual-clutch layout as the other listed grades. Its $121,090 MSRP made it the least expensive entry in Nissan’s published 2024 U.S. lineup.

T-spec: a higher-priced standard-output choice
T-spec shares the standard engine output. Its published MSRP was $141,090, between Premium and the limited-edition prices; the T-spec Takumi Edition was a distinct special edition priced at $151,090.
Skyline and Takumi: limited final editions
Nissan positioned the Skyline Edition and T-spec Takumi Edition as limited-production final special editions, with announced availability of fewer than 200 units for those models. Their 2024 MSRPs were $131,090 and $151,090, respectively. That announced availability should not be read as a count of all GT-Rs produced.

Nissan’s GT-R page provides exterior and cabin gallery images, with captions identifying the relevant 2024 grade. What should a buyer check when shopping for a used GT-R?
Because North American production ended after the 2024 model-year run, shoppers today are looking at used vehicles rather than a new 2026 GT-R. Current inventory and asking prices vary by location and were not verified here. Before evaluating a specific car, check:
- Exact model year, grade, and whether it is a standard trim or one of the final special editions.
- Mileage, overall condition, and documentation of maintenance and repairs.
- Whether the seller can verify the vehicle’s configuration and parts by model year, trim, and part number.
- Local availability and the asking price of comparable cars, rather than relying on the 2024 MSRP.
Nissan’s official parts and accessories storefront is a starting point for OEM parts; confirm fitment against the exact vehicle before ordering.
