What the 2024 Honda Monkey is
Honda identifies the 2024 model as the Monkey ABS, model ID MONKEY125A. It is a compact motorcycle with a manual gearbox, rather than an automatic scooter. The manufacturer’s figures below come from its 2024 specification sheet, which Honda says is preliminary and subject to change.

Yes. The 2024 Monkey ABS has ABS on the front wheel, paired with a 220mm front disc. Honda lists a 190mm rear disc but does not identify rear-wheel ABS. The specification is front ABS, not a claim of dual-channel ABS.

How the suspension and compact dimensions fit into the picture
The inverted 31mm front fork and twin rear shocks are part of the 2024 equipment list. Honda’s 2024 brochure describes the fork as an improvement intended to provide “control and road feel”; that is the manufacturer’s promotional wording, not an independent riding assessment. The 12-inch wheels, 45-inch wheelbase and 30.5-inch seat height establish the bike’s compact dimensions, but do not by themselves determine comfort or rider fit.
Honda’s 231-pound curb-weight figure includes a full fuel tank and required fluids. The 1.5-gallon capacity includes a 0.5-gallon reserve. Those figures alone are not enough to establish real-world range, which depends on use and conditions.

Honda’s current Monkey page mentions a rear carrier and a USB-C charger kit, but that current-model information does not establish compatibility with the 2024 bike. Before ordering either item, confirm the exact part number and model-year fitment with Honda or an authorized dealer. Do not rely on a current accessory listing alone to establish that it fits a 2024 Monkey.
