What the Freewheeler offers
Harley-Davidson describes the Freewheeler as a three-wheel model with a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine and a chassis engineered for three-wheel vehicles. Its listed features include an electric reverse gear, a weather-proof rear trunk with a top-mounted door, bobtail rear fenders, slash-cut pipes, and blacked-out styling. The manufacturer says the electric reverse gear makes it easier to move the trike in and out of parking spaces; that is manufacturer feature copy rather than an independently measured result (Harley-Davidson 2024 Freewheeler).

The rear trunk has a stated luggage capacity of 2 cu ft. That gives a concrete measure of the available storage, though the specification does not describe how much luggage a particular rider can fit in practice.

Engine and output
The 114 cu in Milwaukee-Eight 114 is the Freewheeler’s defining powertrain specification. Harley-Davidson lists peak output as 90 hp at 4,750 rpm and 119 ft-lb at 2,750 rpm. These are manufacturer figures; they do not by themselves establish acceleration, passing performance, or how the trike feels in particular riding conditions.
Fuel estimate and dimensions
The 43 mpg figure is Harley-Davidson’s estimate labeled “Estimated City/Hwy,” not a guaranteed result or an independent fuel-economy test. Actual consumption can vary with riding and operating conditions. The 6-gallon capacity and estimated economy are useful planning figures, but the manufacturer’s published estimate should not be mistaken for a promise of real-world range.

At 103 inches long, with a 65.7-inch wheelbase and 1,131 pounds in running order, this is a substantial vehicle. Those figures matter when assessing garage space, maneuvering, transport, and whether its dimensions suit the rider’s intended use. The listed 26.2-inch seat height is laden, so it should not be read as an unloaded seat-height measurement.

Harley-Davidson lists the following systems on the 2024 Freewheeler: anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic linked braking (ELB), traction control (TCS), drag-torque slip control (DSCS), cornering-enhanced ABS (C-ABS), cornering-enhanced ELB (C-ELB), and cornering-enhanced TCS (C-TCS) (Harley-Davidson 2024 Freewheeler features).

Harley-Davidson lists a front tire size of MT 130/60B19 M/C 61H and a rear size of P215/45R18 83T. The front is specified as bias construction and the rear as radial construction. A rear tire search should therefore start with the exact size, “P215/45R18,” rather than relying on a generic trike tire description.

The owner’s manual warns: “Harley-Davidson recommends the use of its specified tires. Harley-Davidson vehicles are not designed for operation with non-specified tires, including snow, moped and other special-use tires. Use of non-specified tires can adversely affect stability, handling or braking and could lead to loss of vehicle control, which could result in death or serious injury.” The warning is identified as code (00024d) in the Harley-Davidson owner’s manual.
Before ordering a replacement, confirm the vehicle’s applicable manual, tire markings, size, construction, and load and speed ratings. A listed size alone does not verify that a particular tire product is suitable for the motorcycle.
