The 2024 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate costs about $21,900–$22,000 more than a Denali in GMC’s displayed starting prices, depending on engine. In return, it makes features such as Super Cruise, four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, massaging 16-way front seats and an 18-speaker Bose system standard, along with exclusive cabin materials. Denali already includes substantial equipment and can be configured with Super Cruise and Air Ride, so the Ultimate’s value comes down to which upgrades you want—and whether its 4WD-only configuration suits you.
How much more does the Denali Ultimate cost?
GMC’s 2024 Yukon build-and-price page displays the following starting MSRP figures by trim and engine. The differences below are calculated from those displayed figures; they are not dealer quotes or guaranteed transaction-price gaps.

What does the Denali Ultimate add?
Driver assistance and suspension
The Denali Ultimate includes Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance technology as standard, with a three-year Super Cruise subscription. It also includes GMC’s four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension. GMC lists both Super Cruise and Air Ride as available on Denali, so the distinction is standard inclusion on Ultimate rather than exclusive availability.

Front-seat comfort
Ultimate’s front seats are heated, ventilated and massaging, with 16-way power adjustment. Denali’s brochure summary lists premium leather front seating, but does not list the Ultimate’s massaging 16-way seats as standard Denali equipment.
Interior materials and audio
The Ultimate has an exclusive Alpine Umber interior with three rows of full-grain leather seating and laser-etched Paldao wood accents. Its 18-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system includes stainless-steel speakers in the front head restraints. What does the Denali already include?
Denali is not a bare-bones alternative. GMC’s 2024 brochure lists a standard 6.2L V8, a 15-inch multicolor head-up display, High Definition Surround Vision and premium leather front seating. Super Cruise and Air Ride are available, according to the brochure’s Denali summary. If you want those two features, compare the actual Denali configuration and its price with the Ultimate rather than assuming they are unavailable on the lower trim. GMC’s 2024 Yukon brochure
Powertrains and drivetrain choices
Both trims offer a 6.2L V8 or a 3.0L Duramax diesel paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. GMC’s 2024 builder presents the Denali Ultimate as 4WD only, while Denali is also shown in a 2WD configuration. That makes drivetrain availability a practical part of the comparison: the Ultimate may not fit a buyer seeking a 2WD Yukon.

When is the Denali Ultimate worth considering?
The roughly $22,000 difference in GMC’s displayed starting figures buys a bundle of standard equipment and distinctive materials, not a single upgrade. Whether it makes sense depends on your priorities and the specific Denali configuration you would otherwise choose.
- Consider Ultimate if you want Super Cruise and Air Ride included, value massaging 16-way front seats, or place a high priority on the Alpine Umber cabin and 18-speaker Bose system.
- Consider Denali if its standard features cover your needs, you would rather choose available equipment selectively, or you need the 2WD configuration shown for Denali in GMC’s builder.
- Compare actual vehicles by checking window labels and dealer quotes, since displayed starting MSRPs do not establish the final price or equipment of a specific Yukon.
