The new-generation Aston Martin Vanquish was announced on 2 September 2024 and unveiled in Venice the following day. Aston Martin positioned it as the V12 flagship of its front-engined sports-car range. The original teaser imagery and the specific body details suggested by “showing sexy skin” are not confirmed by the available announcements, so the clearest account is what Aston Martin said about the car and when it revealed it.
When was the new Aston Martin Vanquish unveiled?
Aston Martin announced the 2024 Vanquish on 2 September 2024. A separate company release says its world premiere took place in Venice on 3 September 2024. The phrase “ahead of imminent reveal” therefore describes the launch-week timing, not a current preview: the car has since been officially unveiled.

What did Aston Martin confirm about the 2024 Vanquish?
The Vanquish is a two-door, 2+0 grand tourer with a front-mid-mounted 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 and rear-wheel drive. In its US model specifications, Aston Martin lists 835 PS (824 bhp), 1,000 Nm of torque, a 0–62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 214 mph (345 km/h). These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results.

Aston Martin Chief Technical Officer Roberto Fedeli said in the 2 September announcement: “It was inconceivable that a new Aston Martin flagship should be powered by anything other than a state-of-the-art V12.” The engine is central to the car’s role as the marque’s V12 flagship.
The launch announcement also said the new chassis has an 80 mm longer wheelbase. At launch, Aston Martin said production would be limited to fewer than 1,000 cars annually and that first deliveries were scheduled for Q4 2024. Those statements describe the 2024 launch plan; they are not an update on current production, order availability or delivery timing.

What does “showing sexy skin” refer to?
The headline’s wording suggests a teaser image revealed part of the car before its formal unveiling, but the original teaser article and images are not available here to verify what they showed. Aston Martin’s dated announcement and Venice premiere confirm the reveal timeline, not particular camouflage, exposed body panels or design changes. It would therefore be misleading to identify a specific styling detail as having appeared in that teaser.

Yes. Specialist retailers list a GT Spirit resin replica of the 2024 Vanquish in 1:18 scale. That is a collectible model, not the production car. STM Diecast showed its listing as sold out when checked, while HobbySearch showed preorder closed; those stock states can change, and current Amazon availability has not been verified.
