The 2023 Honda XL750 Transalp pairs a new 755cc parallel-twin engine with a 21-inch front wheel, a 5-inch TFT display and five electronic riding modes. Honda Motor Europe announced it at EICMA on November 8, 2022, for its 2023 European lineup. Its launch prices were market-specific: Honda Spain listed €10,500 for the 35kW A2 version and €10,900 for full power in February 2023. The U.S. price came later, for a separate 2024 model-year introduction.
Engine and claimed performance
Honda Motor Europe’s launch specifications describe a 755cc, liquid-cooled parallel twin with a 270-degree crank. Honda lists maximum output of 67.5kW at 9,500rpm and peak torque of 75Nm at 7,250rpm. These are manufacturer figures, not results from an independent road or dynamometer test. Honda Motor Europe’s 2023 lineup announcement introduced the model at EICMA on November 8, 2022.
The engine is paired with throttle-by-wire controls and five riding modes. Honda says the system lets riders select combinations of engine power, engine braking and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC); HSTC includes integrated wheelie control. The launch announcement does not provide independent measurements of acceleration, fuel economy or real-world performance.
Chassis, wheels and equipment
The launch model uses a steel diamond frame, a 43mm Showa SFF-CA upside-down front fork and a Pro-Link rear shock. Its 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels reflect the adventure-bike format. Honda positioned the Transalp for a mix of commuting, touring, trails and mountain roads; that describes the manufacturer’s intended use, not a measured assessment of off-road capability, comfort or handling.

U.S. 2024 specifications
American Honda introduced the XL750 Transalp in the United States as a 2024 model, so its specification sheet should not be treated as a universal description of every 2023-market version. The U.S. sheet lists the following figures and equipment. American Honda’s XL750 Transalp specifications identifies these as U.S. model information.

Honda defines the listed curb weight as including standard equipment, required fluids and a full tank. The company notes that California versions may differ slightly because of emissions equipment and that specifications are subject to change.

Honda Spain’s figures are in its February 2023 XL750 Transalp launch announcement. American Honda’s U.S. model-year and price announcement is the September 2023 release for the 2024 XL750 Transalp. Neither announcement establishes a 2026 price, taxes-on-road total or current dealer offer.

Photos and model context
Honda’s European lineup announcement includes launch-era imagery and assets for the 2023 European model. For U.S. presentation, use American Honda’s 2024 announcement assets and caption them as U.S. 2024 model imagery. Press-image availability does not itself grant republication rights; confirm the publisher’s permitted use before publishing. The European and American Honda releases also frame the motorcycle as part of Honda’s adventure lineup, but they do not establish a measured comparison with competing models.
