The 2022 Honda NC750X pairs a 745cc parallel twin with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic DCT transmission—and puts a 23-liter storage compartment where many motorcycles have a fuel tank. In the U.S., its launch MSRPs were $8,699 for the manual and $9,299 for the DCT, announced in November 2021. Those are historical list prices, not current dealer or used-market values.

These are U.S. brochure specifications; equipment and figures may differ in other markets. Honda Japan’s release for the Japanese-market NC750X lists 43 kW (58 PS) at 6,750 rpm and 69 N·m at 4,750 rpm. Those output figures should not be assumed to apply to every country’s version.
Performance: engine, transmission, and braking
745cc parallel twin
The NC750X uses a liquid-cooled 745cc twin with a 55-degree cylinder layout, SOHC four-valve heads, 10.7:1 compression, and throttle-by-wire fuel injection. Honda’s Japanese-market release reports the output figures above. The available manufacturer materials do not establish independent acceleration, top-speed, or road-test results, so those figures are not presented as measured performance.
Manual or DCT
The manual version has a conventional six-speed gearbox. The optional DCT is a six-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission, offering a different operating experience without requiring a clutch lever for routine gear changes. In the U.S. brochure, the DCT-equipped bike weighs 21 lb more than the manual: 493 lb versus 472 lb.
#1 Best Overall
- Pretty Straight Forward Installation and Looks Nice on The Bike.
- Just attach the pad, slip the unit over the foot side stand and tighten the bolts.
- Makes NC750X Stand A Little More Upright When on The Feet Pics Will Keep The Stand From Sinking Into The Grass at Campgrounds.
- Adds Plenty Of Footing and Parking On Gravel/Dirt Driveway Was Very Good. Never Need To Dumpster Dive Looking For a Can to Put Under The Stand.
- Prevent the bracket from sinking into soft asphalt. Like a bigger footprint on concrete. It works well there too. Condition: 100% brand new, never installed, high quality CNC aluminum alloy.
Chassis and braking figures
The U.S. brochure lists 4.7 inches of suspension travel at each end, a 320mm front disc and 240mm rear disc, and two-channel ABS. Its specified tires are 120/70ZR-17 at the front and 160/60ZR-17 at the rear. These specifications do not by themselves establish how the motorcycle will feel on a particular road or to an individual rider.
What the 23-liter storage compartment changes
The NC750X’s standout practical feature is a 23-liter utility compartment built into the space where many motorcycles place the fuel tank. American Honda’s 2022 brochure says it is large enough for “most full-faced helmets with a visor, and then some.” Helmet shapes and sizes vary, so check that yours fits before relying on the space for daily storage.

The U.S. brochure lists a separate 3.8-gallon fuel capacity. Tank capacity alone does not establish riding range; no real-world fuel-economy figure is provided here.
Touring accessories and fitment
Honda Brazil’s 2022 NC750X DCT accessory package included a rear carrier, 38-liter top box, side cases, taller windscreen, USB port, fog lamps, crash bars, and center stand. This is an example of equipment offered in a specific market, not a universal fitment list. Before buying NC750X luggage accessories or other touring equipment, confirm compatibility for the bike’s model year, trim, and country.

2022 Honda NC750X price: launch MSRP by market
| Market and source date | Manual | DCT | What the figures mean |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States — American Honda announcement, November 16, 2021 | $8,699 | $9,299 | U.S. launch-era MSRP; the DCT list price was $600 higher |
| Japan — Honda Motor Co. redesign announcement, 2021 | ¥924,000 | ¥990,000 | Japanese-market prices including Japan’s 10% consumption tax |
The U.S. and Japanese amounts refer to different markets and announcements; they are not directly comparable prices. Neither establishes a current asking price, transaction price, or used value. A present-day used-bike valuation would need to specify location, mileage, condition, and transmission variant.
Equipment varies by market and trim
Honda’s U.S. November 2021 release says HSTC is standard on both manual and DCT models, while the U.S. brochure’s feature panel labels HSTC “Available on DCT model only.” Because those official descriptions conflict, confirm the equipment on the specific motorcycle and consult the relevant market’s documentation rather than assuming traction-control fitment from the model name alone.

Quick Recap
Best Value
- PRECISION-FIT FOR NC750X / DCT 2021-2026: Engineered specifically for Honda NC750X and NC750X DCT models from 2021 to 2026. These upper crash bars mount directly to factory frame points using included hardware - no cutting, drilling, or permanent alterations required.
- HEAVY-DUTY STEEL CONSTRUCTION: Built from 25mm steel tubing (2.0mm wall thickness) combined with 5.0mm and 6.0mm mounting plate. Finished in sand-texture black powder coating for lasting corrosion resistance
- RIDER IMPACT REDUCTION: During a tip-over or low-speed fall, the cage helps shield the rider's lower body from direct ground contact. Simultaneously, it creates a protective buffer around the fuel tank, engine casing, transmission, radiator, and fairings - reducing the chance of costly scratches or damage.
- FORCE-DISPERSING STRUCTURE: The tubular design distributes impact forces across multiple frame mounting points rather than concentrating stress on a single area. This helps minimize the risk of frame damage while preserving the motorcycle's structural integrity after an incident.
- INTEGRATED MOUNTING PLATFORM: Securely attach auxiliary lights, crash bar bags, or other accessories using the straight tube sections. Far more stable than plastic-body mounts - provides solid anchor points for touring or adventure gear.
