What is the 2021 BRABUS 900 Rocket Edition?
It is BRABUS’s extensively modified version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63, retaining the G-Class SUV format while adding a more powerful engine, distinctive exterior parts, revised suspension and a bespoke interior. BRABUS introduced the model as a 25-vehicle limited edition on June 17, 2021. Its announcement called it a vehicle based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and positioned it at the top of the company’s performance catalogue. BRABUS’s 2021 announcement provides the launch date, base vehicle and production limit; the current BRABUS model page identifies the vehicle as “1 of 25.”
Engine and published performance
BRABUS rates the 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 at 662 kW, or 900 hp. Its current model specification page lists 1,250 Nm of torque, acceleration from 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 280 km/h.

These are BRABUS’s published specifications, not independently verified test results. The company says the values are approximate, may vary with vehicle-specific details and can have test-related deviations of plus or minus five percent. The 280 km/h figure is explicitly electronically limited.

Exterior, chassis and interior
The Rocket Edition’s equipment combines visual changes with hardware intended to distinguish it from a standard G 63:
- Widestar bodywork: BRABUS adds its widened body treatment and carbon components.
- 24-inch forged wheels: The wheels use aero discs, contributing to the model’s distinctive appearance.
- Valve-controlled sports exhaust: The exhaust system includes valves, allowing its sound character to be controlled.
- BRABUS RideControl suspension: The suspension is part of the vehicle’s chassis equipment.
- Masterpiece interior: BRABUS describes the cabin as a bespoke Masterpiece interior.
BRABUS’s current G 63 model specification page is the source for these equipment details. It does not establish that every individual vehicle has identical options or configuration.

The GLE figures belong to the GLE Coupe version, not the G 63 SUV. BRABUS announced that distinct vehicle for a September 22, 2021 premiere in a separate GLE Rocket Edition release. Likewise, the current P 900 is a pickup with its own ten-unit limit, not another name for the SUV discussed here.

What is established about price and availability?
BRABUS’s model page establishes the edition’s specifications and limited production, but it does not establish current stock, a current sale price or the availability of any specific vehicle. A buyer considering one should confirm the individual vehicle’s configuration, provenance, condition and asking price with its seller or an authorized dealer rather than treating the original production limit as evidence of present availability.
