The 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock is a factory-built, widebody Challenger tuned for drag-strip acceleration. It uses a revised version of the Hellcat Redeye’s supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8, rated by Dodge at 807 horsepower, and pairs it with an eight-speed automatic, a 3.09 final drive and 315-section Nitto drag radials on 18-by-11-inch wheels. Dodge’s published acceleration figures are 3.25 seconds from 0–60 mph and a 10.5-second quarter-mile at 131 mph.
What makes the Super Stock different from the Hellcat Redeye?
The Super Stock is more than a Redeye with a different badge. Both use the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI high-output V8, but Dodge gave the Super Stock a revised powertrain calibration and raised its shift point from 6,300 to 6,400 rpm. Dodge rated the Super Stock at 807 hp, compared with 797 hp for the Redeye in the model-year material. The Super Stock’s defining distinction is its factory drag-focused package: competition suspension, a 3.09 final drive and wide drag radials on 18-by-11-inch wheels. Dodge’s 2021 brochure describes the tire-and-wheel and suspension setup as intended to improve grip off the line. Dodge’s 2021 Challenger brochure identifies it as a standard-widebody model.
That combination makes it a specialized member of the Hellcat family, aimed at hard launches rather than simply adding a small power increase to the Redeye. The factory Super Stock configuration uses the TorqueFlite 8HP90 eight-speed automatic; the cited model-year specifications do not list a manual-transmission version.
How fast is the 2021 Challenger SRT Super Stock?
Dodge’s 2020 fact sheet for the 2021 model year lists 807 horsepower, 0–60 mph in 3.25 seconds and a quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds at 131 mph. Dodge also lists a 168-mph top speed, explicitly limited by the tires. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results, and actual performance can vary with conditions and vehicle setup. The tire qualification matters: the top-speed figure is not a general promise that the car or any replacement tire is suitable for sustained driving at that speed. The published acceleration numbers likewise should not be treated as a guarantee for every car or surface.
What engine and transmission does it have?
The Super Stock uses a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI high-output V8 with a revised calibration relative to the Redeye. Dodge attributes the 807-hp rating to that calibration and the higher 6,400-rpm shift point. Power goes through the TorqueFlite 8HP90 eight-speed automatic and a 3.09 final drive. The Super Stock’s factory configuration is automatic-only in the cited model-year material.

Which tires and wheels came from the factory?
Dodge specifies 18-by-11-inch wheels and 315 Nitto drag radials at all four corners. Car and Driver gives the tire size as 315/40R-18, while Dodge’s SRT retrospective names the tire as a Nitto NTO5R. Together, those sources support identifying the factory setup as Nitto NT05R 315/40R18 drag radials. Car and Driver’s Super Stock overview supplies the dimension; Dodge’s SRT page names the Nitto model.
If you are replacing a tire, confirm current product specifications, vehicle fitment, load rating and permitted use with the manufacturer or a qualified tire retailer. The factory tire choice is integral to the car’s launch-oriented setup, and Dodge’s stated top speed is tire-limited; it is not a blanket recommendation for every driving condition.

What drag-oriented hardware does the Super Stock use?
- Competition suspension: Dodge lists a competition suspension in the 2021 brochure, alongside the traction-focused wheel and tire combination.
- Launch aids: Car and Driver notes line lock and Race Cooldown among the drag-oriented equipment.
- Brakes: Dodge specifies lightweight aluminum Brembo four-piston calipers and 14.2-inch vented rotors. Match replacement parts to the car’s exact configuration; a generic four-piston caliper or similarly sized rotor is not necessarily a direct fit.
What do the published figures establish—and what don’t they?
Dodge’s specification sheet establishes the factory-rated power and claimed acceleration and top-speed figures. The reviewed Car and Driver page provides model and equipment context, but the independent test figures displayed there are for a 2019 Redeye Widebody, not a Super Stock. They should not be presented as a Super Stock road test. The available figures here therefore describe Dodge’s claims, not an independently timed Super Stock result.
The cited material does not establish model-specific fuel economy, reliability history, production totals, current inventory or used-market transaction prices. Those require separate, current evidence.
