These are U.S.-market references. Trim names and equipment can differ in other markets. The 34-mpg figure is a headline listing, not a configuration-by-configuration fuel-economy comparison.

Chevrolet’s brochure equipment matrix has columns for LS, 1LT and 2LT. The comparison below follows that matrix; “Not listed” means the feature is not shown for that trim in the brochure, rather than proving that no individual vehicle could have it through a package or market-specific variation.

The LS has the 7-inch MyLink touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility in the brochure, along with four speakers. Cruise control, power windows, power locks and remote keyless entry are not listed in its column.
1LT
The 1LT retains the listed touchscreen and adds two speakers for a six-speaker audio setup. The brochure also lists cruise control, power windows, power locks and remote keyless entry for this trim.

2LT
The 2LT includes the features listed for 1LT and adds heated front seats, keyless open and start, rear park assist, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning.
ACTIV
ACTIV appears alongside LS, 1LT and 2LT in the GM dealer equipment document, and Cars.com lists ACTIV configurations with both manual and CVT transmissions. Chevrolet’s brochure table does not include an ACTIV column, so it does not establish ACTIV’s exact equipment by comparison with the other trims.

Does the 2017 Chevrolet Spark have Apple CarPlay?
Yes. Chevrolet’s 2017 brochure lists a 7-inch MyLink touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility in all three of its compared trims: LS, 1LT and 2LT. Confirm that the specific used car has the expected equipment and that its system works, rather than relying only on a seller’s trim description.
Is the 2017 Spark automatic or manual?
Both transmission types are listed: a five-speed manual and a CVT. The available choice depends on configuration. Cars.com lists manual and CVT versions across LS, 1LT, ACTIV and 2LT, but check the transmission of the particular car you are considering.

What to check on a used 2017 Spark
A trim name is a useful starting point, not a complete build record. The brochure is a model-year feature matrix, and optional packages or market details may affect an individual example. Before buying, check the car itself and verify its equipment by VIN where possible.
- Confirm the transmission and trim from the vehicle’s documentation or VIN.
- Test the touchscreen and confirm the functions you need, including phone compatibility.
- For a claimed 2LT, check for heated front seats, keyless open and start, rear park assist, and the listed collision and lane warnings.
- Check convenience features such as power windows, power locks and remote keyless entry rather than assuming they are present from a badge alone.
- Inspect the installed equipment and any package details; the brochure does not document every individual car’s build.
The brochure also lists air conditioning with a cabin air filter, Bluetooth for select phones, a rear vision camera, StabiliTrak with brake assist, traction control, tire-pressure monitoring, hill-start assist and multiple airbags across the LS, 1LT and 2LT columns. If replacing the cabin air filter, confirm fitment for the exact vehicle; the brochure does not supply a part number.
