Their historical base MSRPs were $21,650, $23,995 and $29,995, respectively. The GTL Exclusive came with the broadest standard equipment list, while the GTL’s Premium Package made some features package-dependent. BMW also made Dynamic Traction Control standard on the GT and GTL for model year 2015.

These are original US prices for model year 2015, not estimates of current used-bike values. BMW’s 2015 model-year release identifies the models, prices and equipment changes.
What changed for 2015
BMW made Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) standard on both the K 1600 GT and GTL. BMW described the change as “Improved standard equipment by adding DTC (Dynamic Traction Control)” in its US model-year release. The change is specifically stated for those two models; the GTL Exclusive already had DTC in its listed standard equipment.
What came standard on the GTL Exclusive
BMW positioned the GTL Exclusive as the luxury-focused touring version and listed it as fully equipped apart from seat options. Its standard equipment included:

BMW’s 2013 GTL Exclusive press kit also describes central locking and integrated audio/navigation preparation. It gives manufacturer-published engine figures of 118 kW (160 hp) and maximum torque of 175 Nm (129 lb-ft) at 5,250 rpm. The press kit’s highlights state the output at 7,750 rpm; these are BMW figures, not independent measurements. BMW also claimed that more than 70% of maximum torque was available from 1,500 rpm. The press kit says satellite radio was available only in the United States and Canada.
What to know about the GTL Premium Package
On the 2015 GTL, BMW said the Premium Package expanded to include Keyless Ride and Hill Start Control. Availability of other equipment was governed by package rules: BMW’s release identifies restrictions involving adaptive headlight, Hill Start Control, tire-pressure monitoring, audio, Bluetooth, GPS preparation and central locking. Therefore, a used GTL’s equipment should be checked on the individual motorcycle rather than inferred from its model name alone.

Finding replacement case liners
The GTL Exclusive’s original equipment included interior bags for its side cases and top case. If you are looking for replacement liners, confirm that the listing matches the motorcycle’s model year and the luggage configuration fitted to that particular bike before ordering. BMW’s 2013 press kit describes case and top-case liners, but no specific current listing, price, stock status or fitment guarantee is established here.

BMW’s historical equipment releases establish how the 2015 US lineup was presented when new. They do not establish a particular motorcycle’s current condition, present-day asking price, service history, live parts availability or VIN-specific recall status. Those questions require checking the individual bike and current, appropriate sources.
