The 2010 Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800 is a heavily reworked Mercedes-Benz S 600 (W 221), not a standalone Brabus model. Brabus enlarged the donor car’s twin-turbo V12 from 5.5 to 6.3 liters and paired it with chassis, brake, exterior and interior upgrades. Period specifications list 800 hp, while the car’s torque was electronically limited to 1,100 Nm.
What is the 2010 Brabus SV12 R?
The SV12 R Biturbo 800 was Brabus’s high-performance conversion of the Mercedes-Benz S 600 luxury sedan. Its defining change was a larger, extensively modified V12, supported by a reinforced transmission and upgrades to the suspension, brakes, wheels and cabin. The name “Biturbo 800” refers to its twin-turbo layout and period-rated 800 hp output.
The figures below are specifications and performance claims published in contemporary coverage, chiefly GTspirit’s report of 25 October 2010. They are not independent test results, and equipment could vary between customer-configured cars.
Engine, transmission and torque
Brabus increased the S 600’s 5.5-liter V12 displacement to 6.3 liters. GTspirit described a longer-stroke crankshaft, revised pistons and cylinder bore, a carbon-fiber air intake, two turbochargers, four water-to-air intercoolers and a stainless high-performance exhaust.

| Specification | Period figure or configuration |
|---|---|
| Engine | 6.3-liter twin-turbo V12, based on the S 600’s 5.5-liter unit |
| Maximum output | 800 hp (588 kW / 788 bhp) at 5,500 rpm |
| Peak engine torque | 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft) at 2,100 rpm |
| Torque available in the car | Electronically limited to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) |
| Transmission and drive | Reinforced five-speed automatic; rear-wheel drive |
| Differential | Limited-slip differential with 40-percent locking rate was optional |
The 1,420 Nm figure is the engine’s reported peak, not the torque delivered without restriction in the car. The electronically imposed 1,100 Nm limit was intended to manage the load on the drivetrain. These technical specifications were reported by GTspirit in 2010.
Acceleration and top speed
BRABUS performance claims relayed in period coverage put the SV12 R’s 0–100 km/h (62 mph) time at 3.9 seconds and its 0–200 km/h (124 mph) time at 10.3 seconds. The stated maximum speed was 350 km/h (217 mph), electronically limited.

Reported exterior changes included a redesigned front fascia with auxiliary lamps and LED daytime running lights, a carbon-fiber front spoiler lip, a rear spoiler lip and a rear fascia shaped for quad exhaust outlets. Aluminum front fenders with vents were available. These descriptions cover options and package features; they do not establish that every example left Brabus with every component.
Interior choices included leather in customer-selected colors, Alcantara and wood trim. The period description also mentioned Brabus’s iBusiness multimedia concept incorporating Apple components. As with the exterior, the final cabin depended on the customer’s specification.

What is known about price and production?
AUTO BILD’s October 2010 German coverage reported a €89,900 price for the engine conversion, about €22,000 for the brake system and €156,691 for an S 600 base car. These are historical German prices from the period, not present-day asking prices or valuations.
The cited period sources do not establish how many SV12 R sedans were built, what examples currently sell for, or whether a particular car is available. A production total or current market value should not be inferred from the model’s specialist status.
