They do not all occupy the same category—or share the same availability. Gadget Review’s September 10, 2024 roundup is the source for the descriptions below; its dated specifications and prices should not be treated as current without checking the manufacturer.
Electric bikes and personal mobility
Several entries adapt familiar bicycle or personal-mobility formats with unusual frames, propulsion, terrain capability or digital features. Their practical relevance varies: a design study or demonstration is not the same thing as a product a rider can order.
1. CycloTech CruiseUp
The CruiseUp is described as an electric-assisted bicycle built around CycloTech’s SE Drive and a gyroscopic stabilization concept. Its distinguishing idea is an attempt to apply a novel propulsion and stability design to urban cycling. The roundup does not establish how the system performs in real-world riding, so it is best understood as an unusual engineering approach rather than a proven improvement over conventional e-bikes.
2. Concept E-bike 1865
BASF and design studio Ding 3000 created this design study with extensive polymer construction and styling inspired by the velocipede, an early form of bicycle. The 1865 is a concept, not evidence that a consumer model is available. Its interest lies in how modern materials can reinterpret a very old two-wheel layout.

9. Honda Extended Reality Mobility / uni1
Honda’s uni1 pairs a personal mobility device with an extended-reality experience. The roundup connects it to SXSW 2024, framing it as a mobility-plus-virtual-reality demonstration rather than an ordinary road vehicle. That distinction matters: its purpose is to explore an experience, not to offer a conventional car or bicycle for public-road use.
12. WHILL Model F
The Model F is a foldable personal mobility device, a category that serves a different purpose from recreational vehicles. The roundup reports a turning radius, obstacle height and range, but those figures alone cannot establish whether it fits a particular person’s mobility, access or safety needs. Current product guidance and advice from an appropriate accessibility or healthcare professional are more relevant to that decision.
13. ENGWE M20
The M20 gives an electric bike a moped-like appearance. Gadget Review’s roundup discusses its lighting, a 750 W motor and an optional second battery; those are source-reported details, not confirmed current specifications for every configuration. A bike’s local classification and where it may be ridden depend on its actual configuration and applicable rules, so the roundup is not enough to establish road legality.

7. Kwiggle Folding Bike
The Kwiggle is designed to fold into a compact package. The roundup calls it the world’s smallest and reports folded dimensions, weight and a starting price. Treat the superlative and measurements as claims attributed to that September 2024 article, not as a current, independently verified comparison across folding bikes.
Machines for snow, trails and rough ground
These vehicles trade the everyday versatility of a standard road bicycle or car for a more specific environment. Their shapes hint at how radically a vehicle can change when snow, trails or off-road riding become the priority.
4. Arosno e-trace
The e-trace combines a tracked winter vehicle with an e-bike-like riding position. That mix is what makes it especially striking: instead of conventional bicycle wheels, a snow track suggests a machine built around winter terrain. The roundup lists a 250 W motor, up to 28 miles of range, a top speed of up to 15 mph and an $8,850 price. Those are dated figures reported by the article, not verified current specifications or pricing.

5. Kuberg Ranger
The Ranger is an electric off-road motorcycle. The roundup highlights its low center of gravity and ability to accept attachments, suggesting a platform intended to be adapted for different uses. It does not independently verify technical specifications, and the description should not be taken as a current product or performance assessment.
11. Acedeck Nyx Z3
The Nyx Z3 is an off-road electric skateboard with large pneumatic wheels and a gear-drive system, according to the roundup. Gadget Review also gives claimed range, speed and price figures, but it does not establish the test conditions behind them. Headline numbers should not be compared directly with bicycle or car figures without consistent methods.
14. Acedeck Nomad N3
The Nomad N3 is another off-road electric skateboard. The roundup describes a carbon-fiber composite deck and LED lighting, making it the list’s clearest example of a recognizable physical product in an unconventional format. The article does not verify a current manufacturer listing, availability or specifications, so it is not a basis for a present-day recommendation.
Rank #4

Three wheels and four-wheel eccentricity
These machines look closer to road vehicles, but their layouts and controls set them apart from ordinary cars. Model details and availability can change, so the roundup’s descriptions are a starting point rather than a buying guide.
6. Rewaco Trikes
Rewaco makes three-wheeled road vehicles; the RF-1 GT is the example featured in the roundup. The article lists engine, horsepower and dollar-price details, but those claims are model- and date-sensitive. A specific trim’s current equipment, price and legal classification require confirmation from the manufacturer and relevant local authorities.
10. Lazareth Wazuma W8M
The Wazuma W8M is an exotic four-wheeled motorcycle or quad-like vehicle. Gadget Review describes it with a Ferrari V8 and a handlebar-mounted sequential shifter. That combination makes it an especially unconventional control-and-powertrain package, but the roundup does not establish current model details or availability.

Personal aircraft and the flying-car idea
The three aviation-related entries occupy different levels of reality: a personal aircraft, a flying-vehicle concept or product, and a future-facing VTOL concept. Descriptions in a roundup are not substitutes for current manufacturer documentation or aviation rules.
3. Zapata Air Scooter
The Air Scooter is presented as a hybrid-electric personal aircraft. The roundup says it can fly for two hours and makes a claim about U.S. pilot licensing, but neither statement should be relied on as a current fact without authoritative manufacturer and aviation verification. Aircraft operating rules are consequential; a short description cannot establish what training, licensing or operating limits apply.
8. Zapata JETRACER
The JETRACER is described as a multi-engine personal flying vehicle with fly-by-wire controls. Its speed, payload, safety and operating claims require current manufacturer information and aviation verification. The roundup’s description makes it an arresting concept, but does not establish that it is suitable, available or authorized for a particular use.
15. Aston Martin Volante Vision Concept
The Volante Vision is a vertical-takeoff-and-landing aerial mobility concept. The roundup says it was developed with Cranfield Aerospace Solutions and Rolls-Royce. Its status as a concept is central: it explores a possible future for aerial transport and should not be mistaken for a production vehicle or something consumers can currently buy.

| What to compare | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Status | A consumer product, a public demonstration and a design concept make different promises about availability. Several entries here are concepts or demonstrations, not confirmed current retail vehicles. |
| Environment | Road, off-road, snow and air use involve different surfaces, infrastructure and operating requirements. A machine designed for one setting is not automatically useful in another. |
| Control and skill | A bicycle-like riding position, motorcycle controls, a mobility device and aircraft controls call for very different capabilities and training. The roundup does not establish that every vehicle is appropriate for every rider or operator. |
| Practicality | Range, portability, capacity and availability matter more than visual novelty when deciding whether a vehicle serves a real need. The article’s figures lack consistent test methods, so unlike vehicle types should not be ranked by headline speed or range. |
Read this roundup as a snapshot of unusual vehicle ideas and forms, not a current catalogue. It was published on September 10, 2024, and its product figures, prices, regulatory statements and availability claims may be dated. Manufacturer documentation and applicable local rules are the right next checks for any vehicle that moves beyond curiosity.
